For last 2 yrs Poor kid has had them on her arms over her torso now about 50 large ones on her legs and more little ones appearing on her ankles

Deeply distressed now by them as children at school wont go near her

They itch like hell they go red , inflamed and then full of pus

She is a quiet little girl , tall for her age , one of non ID twins , fairly well built but fine straight hair, 2nd teeth are overlarge and coming through at odd angles while the baby teeth remain in the gums , clearly aquired a difficult shape mouth and will require years of orthodontic work later

She is left handed and Dyslexic but well behaved at school etc although clearly struggling with words and reading and the stress of this comes out at home with not wanting to go to school ,going off into a planet of her own oblivious of whats going on around her
Will concentrate on Jigsaw puzzles etc for hours but has difficulty with concentration at school .
She has ALWAYS had great difficulty going to sleep ......will not go to sleep alone .....yet is fine if someone is in bed with her .......as soon as they get out of bed she wakes up and is fearful

Had MMR as a baby but has not received follow up innoculations

Suffers severely with Hayfever from early in the season
Likes all food and is not a particularily fussy eater ........has had one good friend at school rather than many but now because the friend is copying her left handeness etc the mother has just stopped the friendship so more stress will result .
Has great difficulty working out which clothes she needs to put on .....has even gone to school without knickers on
Is a very bright child intellectually and verbally yet handicapped by the effects of Dyslexia and "own planet syndrome " which means her reading etc does not match her verbal skills

She is not fearful of thunderstorms but scared stiff of going upstairs alone in any house inc her own even in daylight
Will go happily if one of her sisters etc accompanys her
Mother is also Dyslexic and suffers Hay fever , has Endometriosis and is probably heading Hypothyroid
Father is very tall with fine heavily thinning hair but hollow chested as a result of untreated Asthma in childhood ( Is probably a Phosphorous )

Maternal Father has Hashimotos Hypothyroid
Maternal Mother is Aluminium sensitive (a Pulsatilla )

Paternal Father had heart attack age 58 and heavily overweight and is diabetic
Paternal Mother is also heavily overweight and Hypothyroid

Single dose of Tub has been given
Followed by Porsinium
Calc Carb and occasional Thuja as recomended by suggestions on the board and indicated by MM

Have yet to find a reliable Homeopath in our area so more insight would be helpful

Only one remedy has lots of warts, dyslexia and - most importantly - fear of going to bed alone: that is Causticum. It is a remedy I have often overlooked in the past. But on repertorising the outstanding features of this child, it comes out way ahead of any others. I suggest you try it in any potency from 12C (daily for a week - stop if there is any reaction) to 200C (split dose of 3) and let us know what happens after a few weeks.

before we can even get Causticum more warts are appearing on her toso and her right leg

She dislikes Tomatoes HATES chocolate
Is picky about which kind of crisps or sweets she likes >>>>>>>does not like salty things as they burn/tingle her lips which flake and peel constantly

She does not like the icing on cakes but will happily eat cake
Have read up Causticum in several MMs etc and am having great difficulty seeing the connection proposed

The warts are Molluscum Contagium variety all sizes and conditions from tiny to large and red and full of puss at which point they are painfull and itch severly

Could someone please re reportise this

Okay--what happened 2 years ago in the child's life?

I would also recommend going back and getting more specific information about the child's mental state--how does she feel about her situation at school--with her friends? How about that particular situation, re the one friend whose parent no longer allows them to associate? It isn't clear to me in what you've written...but is the little girl's friend imitating her left handedness? or is the little girl imitation the friend's habits? It would be good to find out what the little girl feels in response to this particular situation...then you could repertorize that, as well as see if it isn't part of the pattern in the case.

Also--what about the fear of the dark upstairs--you must find out more about this fear. What is there to be afraid of, upstairs in the dark bedrooms? What is there to be afraid of in the dark, that she must sleep with someone close by? Those will also bring you some good clues.

Here are some rubrics with remedies for more specific things you've listed. I thought the chocolate aversion was interesting--it is not often a child dislikes sweets of any kind. I put the tomato aversion in so that you could see if any remedies repeated.

You said she goes "off into another world", and also pays close attention to jigsaw puzzles, whereas she has trouble concentrating in school--so...what about the jigsaw puzzles? Is it the idea of putting them together? Are they all puzzles with a theme in common? If so, what is the theme?
Ask her what it is that makes this kind of acitivity easy for her--it will be revealing in the same way dreams and delusions are in every case--very good indicators of the precise mental/emotional state.

first, some really general rubrics, where you are likely to find the remedy listed:

1 MIND; ANXIETY; children; in: 2kali-c., 2gels., 2cina, 2cham., 1calc-p., 1calc., 2bor., 2acon.
2 MIND; FEAR; General; children, in; night, pavor nocturnus: 1zinc., 1valer., 4tub., 2stram., 1sol-n., 1scut., 1sant., 2kali-p., 4kali-br., 1cypr., 1cupr., 2cina, 1cic., 2chlol., 2chel., 1chap., 1cham., 1carb-v., 2calc., 2bor., 1bell., 2aur-br., 3ars., 1arg., 1acon.

rubrics for the dyslexia--you can zero in on what kind of dyslexia applies:

3 MIND; MISTAKES, makes; reading: 1stann., 1sil., 1plb., 1parth., 1merc., 1med., 1lyc., 1lact., 1lach., 1lac-h., 2hyos., 1germ., 1conv., 1chin., 1cham., 1carc., 1calc., 1bar-c.
4 MIND; MISTAKES, makes; reading; interpolates improper words and sentences: 2hyos.
5 MIND; MISTAKES, makes; reading; words look queer and are spelled wrong, thinks: 1med.

and the aversion rubrics:
6 GENERALITIES; FOOD and drinks; chocolate; aversion: 1tarent., 1prot., 1osm., 1calc-sil.
7 GENERALITIES; FOOD and drinks; tomatoes; aversion: 1syc-co., 2psor., 2phos., 1nicc., 1lyc., 1ba-tn.

Hope this helps,

Divina

Abigail does not normally voice her concerns of how she feels at school and the actions of the mother of her one friend who has been imitating the left handed behaviour of Abigail have not yet hit home.

Only by listening outside the bedroom door at night do you hear her desperately praying for someone to help

From a very young age she has needed her non ID twin to be around >>>>>>they now have bunk beds but if the twin was asleep before Abigail then she would cry or you would find her climbing into her twins bed for comfort

She is not short of love or affection from parents, grandparents etc and generally outside of the immense fear of going upstairs alone even in daylight or going to sleep alone in either her own home or ours you would not see any real difference between her or her twin or her 3 yr old sister

There is no trauma or incident to have caused this irrational fear and if you ask her she is totally unable to tell you why

Like I said if I could find a good Homeopath locally I would be there

Abigail is highly sensitive to light and eyes are only happy when weraing sunglasses

Odd symptom .......when even gently brushing her hair no tangles or pain her eyes water profusely a kind of reflex action

With suppurating warts and aversion to sweets, either causticum or arsenicum. Given the emotional symptoms and photophobia described since wexdoc's suggestion, arsenicum looks more likely.

Anna - where you been?

Pat, for what it's worth, while I was reading this something struck me one of my teachers said about arsenicum and that was that they do not like to be the only one awake in a house full of sleeping people. When I read your description about how the little girl gets upset when her sister falls asleep before her that immediately popped into my head.
