Pat, for what it's worth....I have here Roger Morrison's DESKTOP COMPANION TO PHYSICAL PATHOLOGY. In the section on warts,
he lists only one remedy with Molluscum Contagiosum, and that's Medorrhinum. He says that suppressed discharges are one etiology. Has there been any suppression in this child's history? When you think about it, hayfever, learning difficulties, spaciness all look like Med. She's probably a phos. constitution, which might account for her many fears. Snoopy |

I would like to disagree with the previous writer.
I just looked up Teeth, irregular formation of, and calc-f. was the only remedy in bold! I looked it up in the MM, and it does have warty growths listed under Skin, but what was most interesting was that under Mind, it had: great depression and indecision. So I said, Hmmm..... Snoopy |

Had forgotten that she suffered 3 bouts of Chicken pox and that the warts appeared approx 2 months after the 3rd bout
She gets worked up over trifles ( sister pinching a lego brick and you would think the world had caved in ) You have to be careful how you explain things to her as she takes things far too literally and overeacts >>>>>eg Tell her to beware of strangers and she is frigtened of everyone she does not know Mother was very ill with extreme sickness and dehydration at start of the twin pregnancy and at 6 months Father lost his job and the worry and the debts were very stressfull as it was 6 weeks before he found work and she had no option but to continue working both before and after the birth which was induced early The children have been cared for by us whenever Mum was working and there is no difference or conflict in rules of care Rules etc are same in both houses so the children know whats what and theres never been any difficulty with that |

Doesn't it seem significant that the child developed these warts 2mo after her THIRD bout of chicken pox?

Yes I find it interesting. The child was treated with Rhus Tox at the time but Pat says not many. Molluscum do look like chicken pox only they stay at the blister stage and don't go into a scab. Am not sure if they are part of the Herpes virus. Does anyone know?

The chicken pox she had was definitely Chickenpox and not these Molluscum
I was reading up on Medline and it seems that Molluscum Virus is part of the Pox family of viruses What really annoys me is the doctors told her mother they were NOT CONTAGIOUS .......thankfully the other 2 children have not caught them But !!!!!!!! I will try to establish what she is praying about >>>>>>.we are trying to organise to tape it as evidence for the school who are refusing to accept she is dyslexic and needs more help at school |
