Hey folks,

I have seen a couple of times it suggested for regulating hormone levels and am curious if this is good no matter what the problem may be either too much estrogen or too much progeterone or whatever.

I am thinking of taking these myself as I have the horrible ovulation pain and nasty headaches from the time after my period until I ovulate - which seems to indicate some hormonal silliness going on.

Does anyone know a good brand to take?

Your constitutional remedy should sort out your period problems. In UK Evening Primrose is prescribed by allopathic doctors for breast pain before periods (and for eczema).

Barb, Barb, Barb,

Oh come on, Are you still in kind of allopathic mode?

Come on beleive in your constituitional way of remedying the situation rather than looking for other ways.

You are a good student of Homoeopathy, i am sure about that, let us have this confidence flowing back into you.

Come on read the philosophy, have good grounding in MM and talk to people on this BB who know what they are talking about.

Hi Barb,

Check your diet to see if you are getting enough of the essential fatty acids. If not, then you should supplement if you can't change your diet. It's especially true if you are on a low fat diet. If you are getting generous amounts, then your constitutional remedy should assist your body in the proper use of your food.

That is interesting carolorr because I don't believe in the Blood Type diet for scientific reasons.
Example: if a person is allergic to a food it is not going to be good for them, even if it is a food for their specific blood type.

However, O type blood are more sucepitable to overweight and low thryoid which is in accord with the blood type diet. And
cabbage is not a good thing to eat when reducing.
There are always exceptions to rules. I do excellent on evening primrose oil and I am blood type O.
Homeopathy is great because it doesen't have rules, but treats each person individually. It does not dictate a diet for a person.

Udo's Choice is an oil made by Udo Erasmus himself containing certain oils that are best for humans. I can't eat fish, so I find it very beneficial. It cannot be heated.

He is the author of the book "Fats that Heal, Fats that Kill"

If you want to know more, you can do a www.google.com search on him.

A little bit about margarine http://pub73.ezboard.com/fhomeopathy...opicID=6.topic

Flax is also very beneficial.

cib: I believe in his book he describes situations like that...I'm not a fanatic about it...I only go with the no dairy and no wheat cause I know I have a bad reaction to them...but I like to point out the possibility to people. I have my doubts as well but I'm trying to keep an open mind about the whole subject cause there are things that don't fit with it.
