Hi ENS,

I didn't prescribe the Mag Sulf to Barb--that was to one of my private patients. I posted that (other) long-winded story because I wanted to make a point about letting a remedy do its work over time--waiting instead of always jumping in to act. Sometimes this turns out to be the wisest thing to do--but there is already so much written about this in homeopathic literature. Barb will do well to follow David JK's advice and Snoopy's, too--so please don't "credit" me with stuff I haven't done!

I could post yet another palimpsestic writing on why seeing a good homeopath in person beats trying to have your case taken on-line, but I'll save that for another day. I took a case just a few days ago which really highlights this point, so it's fresh in my mind...but don't tempt me.

Snoopy's advice about the lyc., now that she's had a chance to speak (!!!!) is actually good--could be that the lycopodium will give you a hand with that sugar craving, and make it a little easier to choose the healthy foods over the sugary/starchy/processed stuff--the typical American diet...

I think the cretaegus sounds like a good option too, so I hope you look into it and give the diet and tonic a try for a little while or so. A week is pretty skimpy--but, one day at a time, I always say. Please also take some pains to see an MD and have a full work up done, including bloodwork. I want you to verify that all you've got is low-blood sugar/hypoglycemic tendencies or a possible thyroid deficiency, and rule out any other serious pathology. I haven't asked you about weight, but I would like to know if you have been maintaining your weight or steadily losing/gaining. It is significant to your case...but I still think the best thing to do is go and get checked out so you know for certain.

All the best,
Divina

Silly ??????maybe but just what do you cook food in / store food in

Whats your water supply treated with

because if you are sensitive to something like Aluminium you could get all of these constant problems and no amount of remedies will work until you eliminate the cause of the disturbance in your body

Air con systems, aluminium radiators they all give off bad vibes like radiation and in anyone who is sensitive cause havoc

Hi Pat, I had read some horror stories on aluminum and it was eliminated from our cooking about 5 years ago. Before that we did have a couple teflon coated aluminum pans. We moved to a new house 3 years ago and have well water, sometimes treated with chlorine but that is supposed to clear out within a day of treatment. I know my spaciness started at age 11 or 12 and the tiredness quickly followed.

Divina, Snoopy, Ricky, I have not taken the Lyc 6c yet. Starting friday I cut back on junk food and started the Hawthorn (25 drops after meals). I have been feeling a little better since then and my heart has had no pounding fits. I can still feel it 20 minutes after meals but not as severe. I had a large meal with dessert Sat. night and took the drops. My heart was still OK so I think the drops are having some effect. I also don't feel as exhausted after eating. Yipee!! We spent the weekend at a lake and I noticed my left hip becoming very sore again, my athletes foot was worse (left foot) and itchy blemishes on my face were worse (left side of mouth on jowel). They are spots that have not healed for 4 months now and can be pealed off in thin somewhat clear sheets.

Since my hip pain started 4 months ago, along with this type of blemish, I was wondering if I should take a remedy for that first or is it included in Lyc? Thank you, Elly
