Great quotation. Clarity is important for every homeopath, and it comes through striving to become a better human being.

Another quotation I like:
The essence of humility is that we have something to learn from everyone.

"To Become A Good Homoeopath, One Must Be A Good Human Being First"

This is an enormous topic, I could write on it for days! Both 'good homeopath' and 'good human being' are open to interpetation so for starters I disagree.

Good Homeopath - cognizable? One that gets desired results. One with ability. One that decides on fact and accesses the patients emotions objectively . One that is far sighted and can coalesce disparate elements into an effective diagnosis and ultimately a cure.

Good Human Being - subjective. By whose rule? Christ? Hitler? Gandhi? Budda? Mohammad? A nice person with good bedside manner. One that everyone likes with no observation or listening skills, hardly a good homeopath.

Maybe the question is, 'beyond having good technical skills, what requisite skills as a human being are important?'

David,
Maybe the question is, 'beyond having good technical skills, what requisite skills as a human being are important?' I agree, a balance is needed.

Oh come on gpm,
you don't really believe that! A healer/physican/homeopath needs to be caring, have empthy and be sincerely interested in the patient for starters, otherwise he won't have the opportunity to practice his skills.

I know, cib! But frankly, there are lots of "nice", "good" people out there. (According, as you said, to who is judging!) But how many really good homeopaths are there? I just would take a really good homeopath over a really "good" person, any day! In my reality, those drawn to homeopathic practice have something special going on inside them already. That is "good" enough for me! If they are really good at what they do, I'm inclined to take that (with gratitude) and not worry too much how good a human being they are. (You probably know by now that I'm not too high on humans as a species, anyway!)

Our masters openion about good homoeopath(aph83)
freedom from prejudice and sound senses,
attention in observing,
fidelity in observing the picture of the disease.
And combine it wth aph-3
knowledge of disease ,knowledge of medicine and knowledge of how to apply them.
