Initial Complaint: - an intense couple of months

Lisa, It's winter here - that's why we southerners (or as the Queenslanders -known to us as "banana benders") migrate north to Queensland for the sun - they call us "mexicans" as we are from sth of the border.... and they have to cope with the annual influx! Most of Melbourne will be in Noosa or Port Douglas sunning themselves to the amusement of the locals who find 20 deg. C quite chilly!!
Simone - a great idea to potentize the island- how do I go about it? Just get bottles of distilled water and expose to the environment and succuss and dilute when I get home?
We may come home via the opal fields and that would be another interesting remedy. Just imagine the provings.... lots of laconic Aussie bush humour, love of red earth and open spaces, (would there be fear of confined spaces - e.g cities, but a contradiction with the underground houses?)

I know what medicine this is..It's called 'LIFE'. ENJOY THE SUN!!!

And just curious...what is this 'slab of VB'...the only VB I know is ..'Visual Basic'

Dr.B.- a "slab of VB" is slang for a carton of about 24 cans of Victoria Bitter, an Australian beer widely available.(made by the same people who make Fosters)As my more salubrious beer drinking friends say, "a cleansing ale" to be had at the end of a hard day's work or travel.
David - Will revisit "The Dish"@ Parkes tomorrow and slowly make our way up to the Gold Coast, where we have cousins- maybe Sunday/Monday & on up to Gympie & Fraser Is. I think the Qld /NSW school holidays are still on next week and ours overlap - so looking to go to Fraser as the others leave - just when the dingos thought they were safe from the tourists the Victorians arrive!!!

Hey Ozzie...just back from Spain, surely it was THE best remedy...it went straight to the heart of el case...gorgeous stuff.
