Hi Snoopy,
Yes her mood was better on the Nat-Mur, her face was worse. I gave that remedy for two days. Today will be the third day for the Arum-Try and the first two days were not good, as far as her mood. Third day her mood better... face is worse small bump all around. Thanks, Jai |

Hi Jai,
This is getting hard to sort out! One of these remedies is the right one, and all we have to do is carefully sift through the evidence. The right remedy will often make the presenting complaint worse while the mood is lifted and the person feels better on the "inside". It sounds to me like this is what was happening with nat-m. But, because the skin was worsening, you switched to arum trip. You said originally that arum worked, but for only one day, with no change in mood. But your last post implies that for two days arum trip did nothing, but now her mood is starting to improve with a worsening of her skin--is this correct? The answer is this: We do not, in homeopathy, ecpect the skin symptoms to be the first to heal. We expect that first the person's spirits will be lifted, and later the skin symptoms will leave, after perhaps worsening for a brief time. So, you have to ask yourself, which of these two remedies worked best to lift her spirits, because that's the right remedy. If it was nat mur., I would wait a week for things to settle down; keep using the calendula cream, and in a week, give her one dose of nat-mur. 30C and stop and wait and see what happens. If you believe the arum trip has already begun to act, for better or worse, then it is time to stop and wait and watch and see what will unfold. If you're not happy with the results, in a week's time, start the nat-mur again, one dose and wait. Be sure and keep us up to date on her progress--or lack of progress. Let us know if you have any questions. Sincerely, Snoopy |

Hello again,
I am following your advice and am waiting to give Tink the Nat-Mur. I must say the skin condition has worsened. She now has bumps on the back of her neck on her arms and on her legs she is quite uncomfortable the cream is bringing some relief. Is ther anything that can counteract the Arum so that I can start her on the Nat-Mur. Thank you, Jai [ 07 July 2001: Message edited by: JaiJai ] |

Hi,
Are you saying that arum trip is causing a whole lot of eruptions to come out on her body? The big question is--as always--what is her mood. If her mood/disposition is improving, we just keep putting the calendula cream on and wait and eventually these eruptions will go away and she will be cured. If her mood is no better and all you're getting is an aggravation, you can rub peppermint oil all over her body, that ought to cancel out the remedy. I look forward to hearing your reply, Snoopy |
