Hi all,
I'm on a Kali phosphoricum remedy for my health anxiety and after a week of worse symptoms (anxiety, obsessive thinking, headaches and panic attacks), I'm so happy I'm getting better day by day! Actually I'm suprised by how quickly and easily the remedy worked.

I wonder if anyone here has hypochondria too. Has anyone tried Kali Phosphoricum and how did it go?

Years ago, I was in an anxiety state because a relative was late coming home, and I was taking kali phos. 6X (the cell salt) every 15 minutes for sciatica pain, when suddenly I began to notice that I was no longer anxiety ridden! And I said, Hey, wait a minute...I'm supposed to be worrying! what am I taking!? Is this the cell salt for the nerves? I checked my book, "The 12 Tissue Salts" and sure enough, it was!

I think kali-phos. is a remedy that gets over-looked quite a bit in favor of remedies like arsenicum.

ACTUALLY I WAS RECENTLY TOLD TO TRY KALI-PHOS. I NO LONGER HAVE ANXIETY ATTACKS AND I HAVE NO MORE MORBID THOUGHTS. IT IS SO NEAT TO C0ME ACROSS SOMEONE WHO HAS TRIED SOMETHING THE SAME AS ME. WHAT WAS THE EXTENT OF YOUR SYMPTOMS, IF YOU DON'T MIND ME ASKING? ALSO, WHAT DOSAGE DO YOU TAKE AND HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN TAKING IT? I WAS ON PULSATILLA FOR A LITTLE WHILE AND IT WORE OFF IN MY SYSTEM TOO QUICKLY. THAT IS WHY I SWITCHED INSTEAD OF GOING HIGHER. I HAVE THIS HUNGER FOR KNOWLEDGE ABOUT THIS KALI-PHOS AND AM ANXIOUS TO HEAR FROM SOMEONE ON IT.

Somer is actually the third patient I have sucessfully used Kali-phos on. You can look at the thread "Anxiety alternatives" to get an idea of why I used it.

I have also noticed that they are very romantic, and throw themselves into love. The seem to ride a bit of an emotional rollercoaster, often choosing partners who are somehow unavailble, and feeling quite tortured by this. They look a bit like Ignatia in this respect, and I have found Nat-mur to sometimes complement it's action.

Dear mr. Kempson,

Your description for the typical kali-phos case would be easily me! I'm very sensitive and I'm always in love with my best friend's girlfriend!

I'd really want to find more about that and your experience would help me a lot!

Dear Sledge ,

(You can call me David)

I can only refer to the two sucessful cases I saw, but now you and Somer have helped to confirm my observations. The element Kali is what we call a stage 1 element. This refers to its position on the periodic table. All stage 1 elements are impulsive, moody and even a little manic-depressive. This means they tend to go from one extreme to the other, not that they have a mental illness. Kali-phos therefore is impulsive in love, throwing themselves in before looking where they are going. They feel great if the person returns their affection, but terrible when the person is unavailable. Perhaps they choose people who cannot fully give themselves back because they feel love is hard work, and what harder job can you have than to win someone over who is already with someone else, or has some problem which makes it diffcult for them to be fully devoted to the relationship?

Both my cases were men, and neither responded to Nat-mur or Staph. But both did very well on Kali-phos. One has a stable relationship with a person who is devoted only to him, and the other has decided to be much more careful who he chooses to be with next time, and has resisted the temptation to jump back into a relationship for 12 months now.

hi David,

I'm really close to your description. If that helps your research, I would say that indeed I'm easily changing moods from joy to sadness (when fear and all the symptoms appear).

I'm also very anxious and shy with people I'm not familiar with. On the other hand I am very open and sociable when I feel comfortable.

I don't know how, but it seems that Kali-Phos is increasing my self-confidence along with my tendecy to think in a more positive way.

INCREASING SELF CONFIDENCE WAS A "SIDE EFFECT" FOR ME TOO! I DIDN'T EVEN KNOW IT WAS AN ISSUE UNTIL IT WAS CORRECTED. MAKES YOU FEEL PRETTY GOOD,HUH?

Thumbs up

This is very interesting to me too. I sound like what you have described here. I will show this to my homeopath when I go.
