I was looking this up in the Synthesis and found the following remedies: Acon, med, PULS But then I got a little concerned, because Puls have also been used to induce labour. I have a friend who is expecting her baby within two weeks, but the baby hasnŽt tourned yet. Do I dare to recommend her some of the remedies above? I also read something about Kalium-carb in such cases... anyone with any experience in this topic? Thanks

Our first child Emily was in a breech position when my wife was given Puls 10M (~3 doses). Puls is neither my wife's or daughter's constitutional remedy. Although baby did not turn on her own, when the new resident was able to perform the version painlessly (inverting the body to head first delivery position) in 30 seconds, the attending physician was just a little surprised. It did not lead to any premature delivery, in fact, my wife was given Op after being 2 weeks late, and it apparently helped bring Emily into the world 2 hours before my wife was scheduled for C-section.

From what I understand the Puls is the best remedy for this (look in the archives - I do remember a few cases) Also it will not induce labor unless baby and body is ready. 3 Doses of 10m seems high to me though. Again check in the archives - I do remember this topic discusses before. Also I think (If I remember correctly that 2 weeks before due date is perfect time to give the remedy so don't wait much longer)
As always wait for one of the qualified homeos to respond - and good luck!

Hi VonSachsen,
In addition to a remedy, have the expecting mom sleep on the opposite side of her usual favored side. This will encourage the baby to turn. Also, keep in mind that the due date is only an approximation she could even be 4 weeks or more away from birth. Good luck to mom and baby. Claudia (mom of 2)

Von, just to say that one of my babies was lying breech & he only turned himself the day before labour, without help. I believe they can be delivered breech, but I wouldn't particularly fancy it. The docs probably fancy it even less, but it can be done.
Also I have a friend who is in this exact position with a breech baby weeks from due date. She says there is a tale, that if you wish for a different sex of baby, it can be breech, which I found interesting, as my breech boy was the 4th boy & I was hoping for a girl. The same boy was 3 weeks late & proceeded to give me a 36hour labour; we were on the cusp of a c-section, when Arnica 1m got him born in 15mins. If she able to have a homeopath present during labour, that would be reassuring for her indeed. Louise
