NOW AS SOON AS I AWAKE IN THE MORNING IFEEL STRESSED ABOUT GETTING THROUGH THE DAY WITH SLIGHT NAUSEA/FLUTERRING/GONE FEELINGS IN MY STOMACH. AS THE DAY PROGRESSES THESE FEELINGS COME AND GO BEING CALMER AT NIGHT. EVEN THOUGH I`M EXHAUSTED I CAN`T SLEEP UNTIL EARLY SO I HAVE LIGHT HEADEDNESS AND HEADACHES ALOT OF THE TIME. IN GENERAL I AM QUITE A NERVOUS PERSON NOT CONFIDENT PREFFERING TO BE ALONE OR WITH PEOPLE I KNOW. I GUESS ITS FEELINGS OF INFERIORITY EVEN THOUGH I HAVE A GOOD JOB, FREINDS ETC. SHOULD I TRY IGNATIA AGAIN? I ALSO FIND THAT I FORGET HOW TO SPELL WORDS OR SPELL THEM THE WRONG WAY ROUND AND CAN`T FIND WORDS WHEN I`M SPEAKING!! [ 02 May 2001: Message edited by: lorna4 ] |

Lorna - hope you don't mind my asking a question on your thread.
If a grief remedy is given immediatly after a trauma and emotionally the patient feels well - is this suppressing the grief?? Should remedies for grief only be given if it is severe and life altering or debilitating?? _by the way, yea me- I was thinking Nat Mur too.

Hi Barb
Thanks for your reply ![]() Yes I would agree with not suppressing grief. I was fine for a week, I guess because we had everything planned together and she died the way she wanted to (she even told me a few hrs before she`d wait for me). I took ign.6 wks after her death because I was completely unable to function, and didn`t want the antideppressants I was offered by my GP (which most definately would lead to suppression) I`ve lost both my parents some years (both from cancer) ago and a nephew 27yrs old (from leukaemia) 18 mnths before my sister, but I never felt anything like it. The effects of the ign. didn`t last long it just helped me to cope better from to day to day for a short while. hope this helps

I have also found that Ignatia is needed for more recent grief which then goes to a Nat Mur state as suggested above. However I would only give Ignatia in a case like I had the other month of a lady that came and said that she has had this that and the other symptom only since her father died a month ago. 1 dose of ignatia 200 cured all these symptoms. As has been stated , grief is a normal process that people have to go through so Ignatia shouldn;t be given routinely.

I`ve taken nat mur 1m 3 days ago (and a week off work as I get kind of panicy when my mind goes blank trying to remember peoples names, conditions etc and things that are normally routine and easy for me.)
Don`t feel any difference yet but I realise I need to give it time. |
