Hi,

Can any homeopath help me for my old head/nasal congestion?

I have been having this problem for the last few years. I have taken some allopathic medicines/courses which have not helped. My details are as follows:

I am a woman in my early thirtees. I have been having this bad nasal/head congestion for the last few years...lots of pressure in the head. No nasal drainage whatsoever. Feel lots of post nasal drip. If I bend over, feel that the weight has moved, too much pressure in the head as if the head would burst. Feel unbearable pressure in the temples, under the eyes and in the jaws. The congestion is worse when I wake up & gets slightly better after a while especially after shower. Get frequent throbbing pain in the back of the head. Inside of the head feels cold. Lots of burning in the eyes. There IS NO TASTE OR SMELL. Rarely can taste or smell for few seconds.

I am fatigued all the time. Have pain in legs and weakness in the knees. Hands and feet are cold all the time. Pale face/complexion/skin. I do not sweat even after exercising but have lots of thirst.

I do not like sweets, prefer salty foods. Get pain in upper abdomen region after eating eggs. Sometimes feel stomach is distended.

Please help. Any suggestions are welcome. Thanks.

I will have to special order Silicea 1M. I can get 30C in the stores here but higher potencies have to be special ordered and could take about a week. I can get Silicea LM1 immediately as somebody I know has it.

Had taken Silicea, the changes felt are as follows:

After a few days, the congestion really got worse. The congestion/pressure was felt up to the jaws & below which has never happened before. Was feeling totally drained out. Although, I have to add that in between few times I could smell things couple of times but the smelling power back to the original i.e. no smell or taste.

Currently, no change felt. Thanks

Have you tried one dose of Nat Mur 30c?
It should help with quite a few symptoms you have.

Actually without any input, I was going to try Nat. Mur 30C today. Thanks for boosting my confidence & for the confirmation on the remedy. I will post the results here to any changes observed.

Need advise. Took a dose of Natrum Mur 30C yesterday morning. Later in the day yesterday, my legs were aching (old recurring symptom). Today, I am having fever 99.3deg F. This fever is also a an old recurring problem.

With this reaction does it confirm the remedy? Congestion is about the same. Energy level is very down. Should we just wait for the fever to go away without taking anything else or should I take a dose of Natrum Mur 200C?
