Question

How many tries does it USUALLY take you untill you find the right remedy for Rosacea and Raynauds (an estimate)???
I'm not sure I can afford more than two or three visits.

The trouble that Kentian prescribers have is that an inordinate amount of pressure is there to come up with the 'magic bullet'. When this remedy is found, and it suits the case, it IS trully magical to witness.
The reality is however that the diseases you mention would more than likely require prolonged constitutional treatment. Lesional layers, fundamental layers, and miasmatic layers all to be considered. Removing the pathology is not a cure in itself. You need to have the predisposition cured as well. You wouldn't want the blasted things to return a few years down the track! My advice would be to find a practitioner who uses LM's or lower potencies. Because there is more contact with patients over a longer period of time, you might find their fee schedule is suited realistically to serve both the patient and practitioner.

Well, I can think off hand of 2 recent patients with unsightly rosacea - one is 90% better after 3 visits (75% after 1); the other came 4 times then stopped coming as homeopathy (ie this homeopath) didn't seem to be helping him. SO there isn't any "usually". Personally I would find someone recommended and take a chance on 3 visits. If you're improving, you'll want to continue anyway, no?

I have the same story. I have one that was helped after a couple of visits and didn't need to return and another who has been with me for 12 months and she still has the rosacea but all her other complaints have improved a lot and she has motivation for life again. Roseacea is a difficult one.

There are only actually 3 remedies that come up for both these complaints together so your remedy may be one of those.

I usually give myself 3 tries. Surely if the first remedy did not do what it supposed to, I take the case again completely to asess what happened in the meantime. I use Lm's in most of my cases and expect changes in acute situations within a few hours, in chronic in max. 4 days. My cases of rosacea have taken different remedies in succesion till they were finished, depending on the progress and individual case.
Greetings from Ireland, Hans

Wups, how did this become the first post? oh well.

Chrisg, Yes both the rosacea and raynauds are in one person (me). At least I think thats what your asking?
Actually the main problem is severe flushing and blushing, and cold hands that stay white when touched and somtimes turn purple or red. I havent been officialy diagnosed to have either one yet.

I saw a homeopath last wed. and was prescribed Argentum Nit.(200c) 1/2 capfull and then another 1/2 capfull 3-4 hours later.
I took this exactly 8 days ago and as of yet, have noticed no difference at all. The remedy was chosen more for my constitutional type, Im very artistic, organized, analytical, and have irrational fears or suspect bad things will happen even when I realize how rediculous it is to think such things. I have a great imagination but sometimes have trouble putting my ideas to practical use. very spiritual, some deap seated anger, other times its very hard to concentrate especialy when i force myself to read or study, or when around strangers. other physical symptoms are feeling of lump in throat, posible candidiasis (takeing probiotics now after she suggested it), flushing, sensitive to cold and hot weather(like florida!), sinus problems, drippy nose, heart palpatations and irregular beats sometimes, family history of poor circulation and asthma.
My homeopath is well respected and a very very nice lady who I feel has my best interests in mind. The reason I mention all my symptoms is Im curious what you all might thing?
Money is very tight and I dont think I can affort going more than 3 times, so any advise on a posible remedy or a way to help myself and my homeopath pick the "right" remedy will be greatly apreciated.

Have you discussed this with your homoeopath? Surely the two of you can come to some agreement regarding money. I have many patients with whom I have made a contract to pay a lesser amount, depending on their circumstances. It seems it would be better to have you come for less money than not come at all. Don't be afraid to ask for help from her. As long as you are willing to pay something.

Remember too, that later in your life, you will be thankful for the homoeopathy. It will be money well spent.
