Male 48 thin build irritable impatient, odours and bright light annoy sensitive to what others say about Him full of fears especially fears people, anticipates anything, diabetes, dim vision, sore tongue does not take His diabetic tablets(Gliclazide) does not believe in allopathic medicines loses weight (fast) without diabetic tablets, Strong sexual desire without erection can lose sexual desire with erection, drives Him to masturbation, desires salty foods and chocolate biscuits (after a meal), dry lips dry mouth no thirst, appetite alternates between a moderate appetite and no appetite (can lose appetite for months ) sometimes has a strange desire to smoke cigars even though He does not smoke and never has ( cigarette smoke makes Him angry) He hates injustice, raises from bed usually a couple of times early morning to urinate, His eyes are dry when he wakes from sleep, empty sensation in stomach on waking in the morning ( and at other times during the day relieved by eating) depressed and indifferent, no interest in life greatly desires complete solitude even some one else in the house drives Him crazy, very restless and has nervous twitches usually right arm and shoulder. Cold feet during the day uncovers at night in bed, usually a chilly person, sometimes desires to run, cant rest when things are not in proper place very tidy person. Tiredness during the day not usually when its time for bed, He is a very sensitive person greatly effected by the suffering of others especially nature. Can weep very easily sometimes when telling symptoms. Spits out blood on waking in the morning it seems to come from His gums, gums bleed on brushing them in the morning. Usually wakes with a headache.Skin on hands very dry.Sudden very sharp pains occur over various parts of His body,itching over various parts of His body which burn after scratching ( dark patches form, it is these that itch violently )His urine is voided quite slowly, his stools are usualy very soft and thin which burns his anus. He loves to be rubbed which makes him feel better.Flatulence after eating.Double checks every thing, desire to strike, tormenting thoughts enter his mind, avoids the sight of people.Dwells on passed insults with a desire for revenge.Worries a great deal about loved ones, fears robbers, constantly haves a fearfull or butterfly sensantion in stomack. Help I cant work this one out.Thank you.

daj, I think this is an arsenicum album case.

I would like to know what he has come to you for. You do not tell us what this patient wants you to cure. Also, is there no past medical history, FH, social history of note?

He feels unwell all of the time, yes ok most are to do with His diabetes but He has some very tormenting mentals and I feel as though an outside view is necessary.

The problem is that there are symptoms of more than one remedy here, so you need to identify the active miasm and treat that first. For that reason a history of onset, speed of onset and family health history are needed.
If it's primarily psoric/sycotic then ars is likely. If tubercular then phos is more likely.
Like Wexdoc, I would not be happy to give a definite opinion without a good deal more info in a case with this pathology.

Thank you. diabetes is throughout His family men, women, and children of both sexes. Sudden onset 4 years ago. Usual childhood diseases, treated for eczema as a child by creams, divorced and many broken relationships, apart from that nothing else to sugest of any help.

I also feel sure that this person could be helped by a homeopath. I see essences of a few remedies here. Arsenicum, Causticum, and particulally Carcinosin. I suggest that he see a professional classical homeopath who will take abut 1-2 hours to take the case and prescribe on the totality of symptoms. If you tell us where in the UK this person lives I'm sure one of us could direct you to a good classical homeopath.
