I had no choice as they didn;t have disposable nappies when my kids were young. Well they did but only the rich used them!! They were like sanitary pads!!

I did mean to put a disclaimer at the bottom of my original post and say that the info was not verified - I didn't mean to post it claiming it was all gospel, there are some parts that I do believe - but like anything you read if you are interested enough in the subject you will conduct your own research and investigate further to make up your own mind- it was really just food for thought -

BTW, a friend of mine who has used the cotton pads says that you are supposed to soak them all, and the water that is left over is good for plants.
