No Ada - it is not right. In Classical homeopathy we prescribe one dose and then wait. We do not prescribe that many doses, especially in a 30c and we always use the caveat that if aggravation or amelioration occurs the repetition must stop.

Not right by me. That's 42 dry doses before stopping to gauge the reaction of her Vital Force.
Usually 1 to 3 doses is more than enough. Then she should stop and wait and report back to the homoeopath.

If she was to take 42 doses of Nat mur 30C over 2 weeks she would probably have a lot more to worry about than her acne. This is an overdosing regime.

I'd suggest you help her look for another homoeopath as the prescription dosage she's been given does NOT speak well of the "doctor's" understanding of the principle of the minimum dose.

Thank you everyone who replyed to me, my daughter had taken three doses, we'll wait and see the results. We have no luck with homeopathy specialists so far, we've applied to three different doctors already. If someone knows good specialist in Niagara area in Canada, please let me know.
Best Holiday Season wishes.

I have successfully treated Acne in many cases with Arnica 30.

You can take 3 No 30 pillules (which are 3mm in Ø ) for the first week and if the condition reacts favourably the dose can be reduced to just 2 doses per day for the second week. Depending on the severity of the problem 1 dose can be taken daily for about a month after.

It is not appropriate to treat any disease in a standard fashion. The symptoms must be taken including Generals most importantly and the individual reaction of the vital force understood (Law of Similars). The suitable remedy should be given in on its own (Law of Single Remedy) and in the smallest amount possible to create a change, perhaps even just one dose (Law of the Minimum Dose).

I have treated acne sucessfully many times, not because a particular remedy works on acne, but because I applied to basic philosophy of homoeopathy to the case.

To understand the treatment of acne requires a basic fundemental understanding of the underlying etiology.

I treat acne on a routine basis and have had excellent success with Cleocin T gel topically bid and oral tcn pr vibromycin.

Hello Steven,
Interesting. What is the etiology as you understand it?
regards,
doctorleela

PS; My reason for asking above is because we view Acne (and any 'disease' for that matter) with a completely different perspective.
