hi - my 12 year old son is getting severe nosebleeds every night - at the moment it is very hot where we live - he has an excellent diet(he eats some meat) and i am just a little perplexed as to why he is getting them. he has just started high school last week, but loves it(was nervous on the build up to it). the nosebleeds have started since then,,,i would appreciate any remedies or vitamins that my help him,,

Patsy, homoeopathy can help with this, but there are about 300 remedies for nosebleeds. The selection of the remedy would depend on a full case being given of his health and temperament. You could see a local practitioner or post in full here.

Hi Patsy,
boy is it hot here!! (I'm in Melbourne too!!)
My 11year old daughter has also had frequent nosebleeds (she has a constitutional prescription every so often) and we use FerrPhos tissue salts as a First Aid for her. They work really well and she is able to reduce the flow and length of time of the nosebleeds. They are decreasing in frequency. The tissue salts are reasonably inexpensive and you can use the rest of them at the first sign of a cold in the family!
Hope that is of use for you in the short term, but please consult with a homoeopath for longer term care and to address the cause of the problem.

thanks ghazi - the ferrphos appear to be doing the trick until his appt - we were away over the weekend ad not one nosebleed - i think it may have had something to do with the extremely hot weather we were having - his appt with our homeopath is later this week , so i look forward to her diagnosis,,,
