Dr MAS,
where is that in the organon? If it is there, why is it not part of traditional homoeopathic training/treatment? I don't remember ever seeing it. ------------------ David Kempson Dip.Homoeopathic Medicine Member A.H.A(Australia) |

Hahnemann's Organon does not permit using mixtures or combinations.
In a given case, we may use different remedies singly at different times in accordance with the totality of the symptoms then prevailing and this cannot be termed as using combinations. For example, Rhus may need Bryonia or some other suitable remedies to complete its favourable action in a case of rheumatism. In Aphorism # 273, Hahnemann categorically prohibits dispensation of "mixtures" and "combinations". However, naturally occurring combinations such as Causticum, Nat Sulph, etc., are exceptions and for good reason. ------------------ Ghazi [This message has been edited by Ghazi (edited 09 February 2001).] [This message has been edited by Ghazi (edited 09 February 2001).] |
