Hi,
My age is 39 years and have 3 kids. Since last 8 months, I feel like I have no emotional desire/pull towards the opposite sex. First I noticed it with my wife but thought that it might be due to some internal family tensions and hence there might be a mental blockage. Later, I found that I do get attracted (though lesser) but even if I have the desire, the signal don't pass downward and I don't find myself in a position to perform intercourse. Many times semenal discharge is there but with no strong erection to perform. My physician was of the view that its nothing but tension and gave me Laxotinal/Daperal but it didn't help much....rather I started getting drowsiness. Meanwhile I noticed one thing that my feet get cold when I go to bed and in the later part I used to get quite fatigued after performing. A homeopath suggested that I should take Calc Phos (for cold feet symptoms) 4 tablets 4 times daily and Selenium200 ten drops 3 times a day. I am taking the dose but found negligible difference on the desire/erection side. In casual reading I went through Lycopodium, but didn't find the symptoms exactly matching or may be I don't know the complete details. Also, they talked about high potency once a week, which I am not sure what potency they consider as high potency... suggestions please!

high potency once a week is wrong.
also stop the selenium and cp drops and tablets. And stop the doctor's drugs.
More information is needed on your entire case.
For examples of cases well given, see the posts Homeopathy to reduce excess hair.. or Homeoopathic treatment of peyronies disease.
Then post your case here if you wish.

Yes and no thyroid problem found. Also, there isn't any family history regarding thyroid.

Thanks for all the replies!

Anna,
Adding further to the details my height is 5' 8", weight 78 Kg., normal body hair on chest and abdomen, recently observed sudden hair loss while combing, oily skin, fairly built body (always been working out on and off), used to take a lot of caffeine from college days till last year, stopped taking tea since one year and shifted to jasmine tea, recently started feeling a desire for more caffeine, working hours are 11 - 12, sleep only after 1:30 am till 6:30 am, waking up early is always tiring and difficult but once started never feel sleepy, used to have a very hot temperament from childhood till college days but, since last 10 years, I am considered as very cool, considerate, and absorbing. Ten years back I suffered from hyper acidity and checked my caffeine in take, and diet. Now sometimes I just have to take Simeco once in a while after spicy/greasy food. Recently I also went through blood and urine tests and all are clear including sugar level. Sometimes I do experience low blood pressure problem...my normal is 110/70. I don't fell sick so quickly....its like getting cold once in a while. Eyesight is ok...recently started using glasses for reading. I always had slight constipation so try to take more fiber. Water in take is too low...don't feel like drinking more than 6 glasses of water. Oh yes, from childhood I have a problem of prolapses but it never went chronic and I have been pumping iron, playing games without any problem...rather it has reduced with the passage of time and now rarely experience it...also no infections. My working hours are either in front of a computer or client visits. Considered quite vocal and a social person.

I think that covers most of the details.....thanks for your patience and waiting for a workable remedy. Btw I have stopped all the medicines.

Nux Vom 10m, one single dose, once only ie NOT a repeated daily or weekly dose.

It is important to stop drinking Jasmine tea, as that is a drug that can cause some of the symptoms you describe.

For two weeks, avoid coffee and cola and all other stimulants. Ordinary tea is OK, if not taken in excess. Try to drink juices or better still, plain water. Report back on your progress please.

Thanks GM...its further re-assuring

I'll try it out Anna and update you on any changes. From now on I am stopping Jasmine tea and coffee. I don't take alcohol ...so no problem. Apart from the remedy, the thing which bugs me is that what happened all of a sudden that resulted in such a disorder? What is the diagnosis?
