Thumbs up

Yes, homoeopathy can help, but it might be necessary to remove mercury fillings first.

Do you have mercury fillings?

Does your breath smell bad from the ulcers?

How long have you sufferred from this condition?

Sometimes mouth ulcers can be a sign of a lack of Vitamin C.
Try taking 1000mg a day for a few days to see if this helps.

Can you describe the pain any better? That is the pain from the mouth ulcers and from the throat. What side is the throat pain? Do you feel weepy? If you can get hold of some hypercal tincture or mouthwash that may help to gargle with. Also calendula mouthwash.

Damn computers! I wrote a long reply and lost it!!

Thank you for your replies.

The pain - like all my pains! - are on the left, but the right gland in front of the ear is swollen. The pain is like a electric shock, if anything touches the ulcer, or i move suddenly or sometimes just talk it is a shock that shoots to other sores on my lips. Hot food/drink is impossible. I can have iced drinks and cold food but I can't chew so i am living on cold porriage! I have tried two things from the chemist and am on steroids for Crohns disease - which does cause mouth ulcers - so I am keen to try homeopathy. I was reading about Borax. that's me. Infact i think it was some grapes that strted the ulcers this time. My cheek gets red hot but today I am deadly pale as I also have a bladder infection - I am starting Juniper for that today. I can't say if this is making me weepy as I am under terrible stress and have reached a stage where I just can't cry however disstressed I am.

I hope that is clear and I would be grateful for further thoughts. Thanks.

Exclamation

DO NOT TAKE VITAMIN C WITH CHRON'S DISEASE. IT IRRITATES THE BOWEL.

Also, taking steroids usually blocks the action of homoeopathic remedies, however well selected.
You need careful case management to treat all your complaints together, not one thing for one complaint, one thing for another.
If to manage your case, your homoeopath needs to prescribe the indicated remedy as daily LM1 and once an improvement is noted in the inflammatory bowel symptoms, the steroids can slowly be reduced.
The ulcers are not caused by eating grapes, although that might have triggered. They are very likely caused by the steroids.
I appreciate you are under a lot of stress and advise that you consult a local homoeopath as soon as you have identified a competent one in your locality.
Kind regards, AB

Correct remedy is acidum nitricum.
The lm metode:YOu do this, get a 100 ml bottle, fill that 2/3 with a solution of water/vodka app 12%, dissolve one pill LM in it.
When to use it, you hit it app 12 times against a book, ( if very sensitive to the remedy use lesser 5 or so), then you take a tablespoon of that, in to a half glass of water, stir vigourously, then take one sppon as medication, pour out the rest of the glass, nex day repeat this procedure, always using a fresh glass and spoon.
You can modifie, by using a teaspoon instead, and more water in the glass, in order to make it fit you, cause aggravations is to be avoided.
If a hard agg, try modifiyin it retake of it, if not better, stop wait four days try again, if again a hard agg, then stop completely, it has done its job. if only a weak agg, try to modifie retake, continue till a agg shows again, then your done. The remedie cant do anymore.

But, in order to make this work, you might have to stop steroids, then take a phosporus 30 dose first, wait one week before you start on it.
As it is now, just try it, without stopping the steroids, and if it works as it shall, and your in order, then you take the phosp, one week after the last dose of ac n.

Question

GM, I also considered Ac Nit for this case, given the general ulceration - mouth, stomach and intestinal, but I selected NM in preference because of the keys, cannot cry and Mouth Ulcers, painful, touch to. The latter rubric lacks AcNit.
Did I miss something obvious for AcNit?

I really appreciate all you are doing to help me, but I wonder if I just have too many problems? I am so physically and mentally exhausted. It has taken me years to comes up with the following phrase that explains it! - Disstressed and overwhelmed!

I have no resistence. Nothing heals on me, scratches etc. I constantly feel fluey and this sore throat is making me feel very hot and unwell.

I am in pain everywhere and suspect Fibromyglia but haven't seen a doctor since the 80's. They have just abused, negelected and hurt me too much.

I won't be upset if you feel I am too complicated but thought I'd tell younow incase everything is complicating the mouth ulcer picture.

Thanks, Carole
