My daughter is 6 years of age and she has been complaining of headace for last few days.
She is a quiet child who is afraid of dark and wants to sleep with her mother. While sleeping she tucks her hand and legs under the body of her mother. She is not eating well for the last couple of days. She is not a confident child and something seems to be bothering her at school. She is very good in academics and even after talking to her teacher I could not find anything that was upsetting her. We got her eyes tested and she wears glasses at school. Her headace in her entire head and the head does not feel warm. She loves noodles and pizza and she does not like normal food. Lately she has developed likeliness for eggs (scrambelled). She has a feeling that nobody wants to play with her at school & she does not make friends easily. Given an option she would rather stay home then go out and meet people. She is a quick learner and is very fast in grasping. When asked to choose among 2 or more things she is not sure and wants to look at others for their choice. I think Chamomilla / Ignatia may be the remedy because her headace may be due to some stress. I would value your opinion. Thanks |

Liking for eggs + delusion friendless gives only Pulsatilla, and the other aspects fit.
However, the information is too brief for a confident prescription, and it's just my best guess from that info. |

Hi,
It would help to know more about the headache...the kind of pain, anything that has changed about her since the headache started...anything physical or mental. In other words, the clinging to Mommy and sleeping in Mom's bed, and her feeling that no one wants to play with her, and desire for eggs, etc., that was all there before the headache, right? Well, has anything significant occurred SINCE the headache, a departure from her usual self? I agree that Puls. sounds promising. I don't see any symptoms for Cham.--they are usually inconsolable, angry, fussy, want to be carried, etc.; or Bell. unless you say her headache is throbbing or extremely painful, or perhaps, with more information, it may yet be belladonna. Ignatia I don't see either: like a nail in the temple, is usually how they describe the ignatia headache, and I don't see any ignatia mentals. So if you could be very specific about this headache, including what makes it better or worse, we might be able to help you beyond our recommendation of Pulsatilla. Sincerely, Snoopy |

Her headache symptoms keep changing all the time. Normally when I leave her at school it is very very less. As the day goes by it starts hurting her more. The pain is in the forehead spreading to the back. It does not go down and it seems to be localised at the upper part.
Her clinging with her mother has always been in her personality. She is very attached with me and her mother. The only thing that has changed after her headache is her lack of self confidence and the feeling that I cannot make friends and children don't want to play with me. The fact that it increases during the day and by the evening it again becomes less makes me wonder is she is under some sort of stress at the school. Another thing that has changed is that she does not want to go to the school and once we reach the school she will tell me that she has a stomach ace and a severe headache. As regards stomach ace I am sure she makes it up because when I joke about it she laughs it out but her headache definitely increases. We have talked to her teacher and tried to console her emotionally. Interestingly on the Saturdays and Sundays the intensity of the pain does not increase. This makes me to believe that she is thinking about something at school and the fact she cannot make friends is bothering her. At times she loves to naggy for things and that is why I was told chamomilla. But I guess you are right on second thoughts chamomilla may not be a right choice. The same applies to Ignatia. I have seen Kali-phos work in such cases where mind is involved. GM, would Calcarea Carb still hold after giving these additional details? Thanks for your help |

I must mention that her thirst is good so possibly, will pulsitalla still work?
I contacted a friend of mine who has suggested the following: Belladonna -1 dose 30c followed by Chamomilla 200 1-2 days followed by Bryonia I can understand why he is giving these remedies. Belladonna for reducing pain (probably). Chamomilla will be for headace and general anexiety. Bryonia will actually go and remove the headace. I must mention that her headace is in the front and the back of head. I do not know much about migraine so I cannot say it is migraine. Please help |

Hello Rajeev,
To me it looks that your daughter needs natrum-mur. ------------------ GOD grant me the SERENITY to accept the things I cannot change, The COURAGE to change the things I can, And the WISDOM to know the Difference. |

It looks like Puls to me as well, some strong emotional keynotes for the remedy. Also, the changeability of the symptoms is a key indication for Puls.
