Question

I would appreciate being pointed in the right direction for rubrics for, secretive eating, and hiding soiled underwear, both of these are for my 5 yr old.
(I have already asked this question, but managed to delete it!)

It might help to determine the motives for the behavior. Does she hide her soiled underware for fear she will be punished or maybe she soils because she doesn't want to interupt her play, etc. Same with the secretive eating. Is food an issue for her and of so, why?

Once you have the motives, it becomes easier to find the rubtics.

Hope that helps, Shirley

Thanks Shirley,
The soiling comes in cycles, she'll have it for about a fortnight, then it can go away for anything up to 6 wks. I never tell her off for this, but have asked her to let me know so that I can clean up. I have no idea why she hides under the bed to eat, she is constantly snacking and asking for food. This behaviour could be termed as deceitful, as although she can be an absolute delight, she lies with utmost conviction, but her behaviour should be without fear of retribution, as I,m very calm with her, (even tho'I don't always feel like being so!) She is extremely active, and of slight build, despite her appetite.

meg, I'm not sure how many kids you have, I've read bits and pieces about them on different posts.
Homoeopathy requires a full picture on which to prescribe, so we can't give very useful answers when the info is here and there.
Why not start a thread for each of them, writing everything about each child in their own thread?

Louie-Rai, 1yr, normal birth, 6lb 8oz, very mucousy and sneezed alot for the first few weeks. Warm baby, dark hair (now very blonde), touch of colic & green stools up to about 3m, dislike of being undressed or nappy changed also until 3m, would lose her voice when she cried. Would pass a stool every time she passed wind - frequently, which would excoriate her bottom, then changed from frequent stools to once a week at about 3m, (heaven). Started at about 7m with eczma behind her right knee, which slowly spread in patches (resembling ringworm) down to her ankles and up to her neck, the worst being on her thighs and around her waist which was dry and red/sore. Always been tiny, now weighs 15lb. 6 teeth all at once - uneventful, number 7 & 8 slowly coming through now. Crawled at 6m, walked with furniture at 7m, walked unaided by 10 and a half mths. Always sneezes in sunlight. Always been an extremely oral baby. Exclusively breast fed, just introducing solids now. Had recurrent ear infections at about 9m, often didn't complain, Puls 200 worked. Very happy, easy going, though occasionaly had a Chamomilla moment! Then up to 6 wks ago, eczma disappeared, started with fear of water, and a slight attitude problem - bit rough and temperamental, but not too bad. Eczema just starting to come back again. No fear, prolific climber. Bed shares with me, wakes at least twice for a feed, (I enjoy it), sleep position changes from front to back, but I think she prefers on her tummy, usually with knees bent. Just starting to tolerate her car seat, screamed for the first 9 mths when put in it. Had Sulph 2oo, for eczema, no effect, then something else, which my homoeopath couldn't remember (!), then Carc 200, which must have worked, as it disappeard 5 wks later. Used to cat nap, now has a couple of hours, twice a day. Blue sclera. People of all ages drawn to her. Happy to go to others. Sweats all over head if too warm. Often sobs in her sleep. Likes music, and will dance. Oral thrush, especially on sides of mouth. Likes to rest her head on your shoulder. Always has her finger in her ear, esp when feeding or tired, and just lately, up her right nostril!

Has she ever had worms?

Does she have any spots on her fingernails or toenails?

Why, since it did good work, was Carc not taken higher?

Thanks Anna.
No, she dosn't appear to have worms, and was prescribed Cina as a newborn for colic. No marks on finger or toe nails.
As for the higher potency, my homeopath won't give anything over 200, unless you are an adult!! But I'm certainly willing to do so!
Do you think 1m or 10m may be a good idea?
Regards, Meg

I would not recomend that, this seem to be a case of supressed excema, by carc, further supressing, will give more problems that it alread is.
Agaricus could be an option her, to clear the picture a bit.

Yes, looking over the case again, I agree with GM that Carc suppressed the eczema - hence the fear of water developing after the eczema was suppressed, if no other life event had a big impact on her recently.

Pathology moving from skin to mind is going the wrong way.

I don't know why GM saw Agaricus, but he knows many things I don't, so it could be a good idea.

I would look at Psorinum for the case at this stage, but Agaricus could be better.
