For cleansing him of the drugs (he took street drugs and any allopathic prescription drugs he could get his hands on), I gave him Nux 30C and Kali phos 6X (Kali phos. strengthens the nervous system after a body has been ravaged by allopathic drugs). Following that, his hair and skin came back all shiny and glossy again and he looked a different person!
I also made my own homeopathic remedy out of a vallium pill which I gave to him in a 1X potency, Opium 6C, Passiflora MT and Vit B1 (Thiamine which is essential to prevent brain damage during the DT's and incipient Korsakov's disease from chronic alcoholism) to help him over the DT's.
So far, all is well and when he feels "wobbly" as he describes it when he feels that he may relapse, he goes back to the Avena, Quercus and Angelica 3X per day for a week.
Might sound weird, but hey, its worked for him and he swears by it as he's 46 and nothing, since he started his addictive behaviour at age 15, has helped as much as this has - not even AA!
