Dr Bhatia, Your post was the nicest kind of Christmas present. Thanks so much.

I have tried a multitude of remedies over the years, including Calc and Puls[no results] and Sulph [little result, but I am currently trying Sulph LM1 to try to clear the picture and it's not doing much].

Carcinosin has been the most effective remedy for me, but it stopped being useful after about 10M, or I didn't go high enough - I am not sure.

Ac Phos once produced a stunning result for me after flu. Ars and Sil have helped in acutes.

Calc phos I have never tried above a 6c, and I am giving it strong consideration on the basis of your repertorisation, especially given that it is complementary to Carc and AcPhos.

Thanks again, Anna

GM, Thanks, I just saw your post too.
I like Dr Bhatia's suggestion of Calc Phos rather than Carb.
Although Phos doesn't work for me, there is something of Phos in me - long thin bones, dark under the eyes, long thin face, moving from one thing to another, and that "grass is greener on the other side" unsettled feeling of the tubercular miasm.
Also AcPhos being a partial remedy for me suggests it.
I will think about it. After all these years I find working on my own case quite boring.
Other remedies I've been considering are BCG and Carc, since things got a lot worse for me after my BCG when I got glandular fever and back pain started. Difficult to say what was the chicken and what the egg.

Question

Can I really need CalcPhos when I can't bear the texture of any meat fat or the taste of pig fat.
This is opposite to Calc Phos. Does that contraindicate?

I do have the cold nose tip of CP.

Wonder if I need Carbo Veg to boost the vitality a bit to clear the picture?

Thumbs down

There are valuable symptomes, belonging to the remedy, and there is fantasy, you got to learn how to distinguish between symptomes, and habits, influences of the society round you...as in psyhcology, enviroment, society, and symptomes, pathology..is in a blend..
cognitiv..behaviourism..
Peculiar, that many schools, dont teach how to use the repertorie correct, how to validate symptomes, but instead concentrate on presenting new fantastic remedies, that is seldom of any other use than brag up the leader of the proovings, that eventually sells a book, buys a school and continue to destroy homeopathy..
Deitys of homeopathy to day..scorge of homeopathy..
People, buy all sorts of counterfeits, and think they have striked gold..its quite enough to be aqquainted with this bb, to se that fact, and homeopathy and patients, and this world pays in blood..Buy yourself a title as homeopat, from a union..what help is in that, when you dont know the tools of the trade?
Happy new year.

Question

Reading between the lines GM, I think your answer means I shouldn't worry about the contraindicative food aversions.

Hi Anna,

Food desires/cravings in a remedy can just as often be aversions, too--so the fact that you have an aversion to the very things one would associate the opposite feeling with a particular remedy actually don't contraindicate--they are confirmatory. The "test" is in the repertory--if there is a remedy indicated in the rubric for desire for a specific food, it will often be in the rubric for its aversion, too. I know lots of people who've done exceptionally well on the Calc Phos remedy who would rather shoot themselves before eating fat, greasy, porky foods!

This concept goes even further in the mental emotional symptoms--patients do to themselves what other do to them; and what you desire to do for others is what you would like others to do for you.
