I think she will be fine now, but if there's a relapse, use Ars 200, one dose once only.

Thanks to you'll, she is doing much better now. The cough has subsided a lot, and I think she is heading the path of recovery.

Since Ars was indicated for Acute situation, would I have to follow it up later with Puls or Phos since she seems to fit them more constitionaly. I am concerned due to the fact that everytime she catches a cold, she invariably ends up with this Barking type of cough.

I think Phos is a good follow up, as opposed to the Puls--but I would still wait and see. Interesting that she gets the same barking cough each time she's been ill--so, yes, there may be a need to repeat her phos prescription, perhaps in a different potency, after she recovers...but watch and wait, as you'll see indications for her follow up remedy. I found a good sized group of suitable follow-up rems for Arsenicum in Boericke, so have a look at his table of rem. relationships.
