3 weeks since last post, 47 days total since taking calc carb 200c:

-Abscess has remained quiet; not resolved yet, it's still open but inflammation & drainage now is consistently at a low level. This is as good as it's ever been.

-Scalp acne has increased the last 3 weeks; for about a week I also got a lot of ingrown beard hairs causing little pimples with white pus. I've occasionally had those in the past, but rarely so intense. Those seem to have resoved now. The scalp acne has not, it's getting annoying. It's all over my scalp, including the back of my neck. Old, continuing symptom, worse now than before. have seen an increase in dandruff, which I've had ON OCCASION before.

-Right arm (shoulder-bicep-elbow) soreness/stiffness continues.

-Lower lumbar stiffness/pressure continues (old continuing symptom since nat mur & rhus tox); still feels like a tight belt around my midsection, limiting mobility. Hurts mostly if I bend down forward from an upright position; I had a mid-back spasm 2 days ago, but I stretched out, heard my spine crack, and now it's better. Sore/tender spot right under my left ribcage (in the back) has flared up; this spot flares up on occasion, so it's an old symptom.

-I've had digestive problems in the last 3 weeks. Diarrhea comes & goes, havesn't had a solid BM in these three weeks. Rumbling in lower abdomen, flatulence with BM, low odor from flatulence. For a while urine had strong, almost smoky odor, deep yellow colr; this seems to have passed. I thought I caught a stomach bug a couple of weeks ago, I felt very tired all of a sudden, then felt sore all over, loss of appetite, went to bed with strong chills, woke up at night sweating profusely, next morning started to feel better. Since then, though, bowels still haven't graced me with a normal BM.

-Have had very itchy eyes (esp. inside corners, mostly left eye) these past three weeks; symptoms worse early morning & late night. For a while it felt like sand in the eyes. Feels like mild hay fever-eyes, but it's too late for ragweed. It's been a little better the last 3-4 days. Got a hint of itchiness creeping back on my right forearm a couple of weeks ago while showering (warm), but nothing ever happened.

So the worse right now GM is the back/arm soreness, scalp acne, digestive problems. Abscess is the best it's ever been, but not resolved yet.

Are you still thinking of going up to cc 1M?

Thanks GM,

RF

~6 weeks on calc carb 1M:

-GREAT improvement with the abscess!
Before even calc carb 200c, I had to squeeze & clean the abscess with an ear swab daily, often 2-3 times daily. After you prescribed calc carb 200c, I noticed that it settled down, only needing to be cleaned once every 3 days. After switching to 1M, I still had to clean it out once every 3 days for the first 2 weeks. At the end of week 2, something very strange happened while cleaning it out: When I pressed it, I heard and felt "rip & tear" sounds from the abscess, and when I looked at the ear swab, I noticed pieces of bloody tissue/clots had come out of the abscess; I continued pressing, and the rip & tear/tissue extraction continued 3 more times. I felt kind of woozy for a few seconds after that, but inflammation & drainage (blood & pus) settled down even more; I went 14 days fefore I felt I had to clean it out again. After 14 days, a litle more tissue popped out again, and now I'm going on another 14 days without having to clean it.

-Ever since going on calc carb 1M, bowel movements went back to normal; no more problems.

-Scalp acne still continues (very annoying).

-Lower back/upper pelvis soreness/tightness still continues; some days are better than others, but no real improvement yet.

It looks like real progress with the abscess for the first time; how do we deal with the back & scalp acne GM?

Thanks again,

RF

Think we should move up to 10 M, one dose, and if that dont work properly, we shall use hepar sulp 200 a couple of times.
It follows.

And if thats not of use maybe merc 12 some doses., and do not wash the scalp, more than every other day, and avoid shampoos that agravates, i found personally only one thats of use that dont give scalp troubles, due to correct ph, and vit b in it.

What brand is your shampoo GM? Right now I'm using an Aussie Mega shampoo because it doesn't seem to have a lot of detergents compared to others I've used. I really can't go every other day, after one day my scalp becomes very oily. If I worked at home that would be OK, but I don't so I'll have to find the right (mild) shampoo.

All suggestions welcomed.
