Our son was born normal delivery, and after 4 months developed eczema. While monitoring eczema we realized he was allergic to cow’s milk. He was breast fed for the first 10 months. By eliminating cow’s milk from son and mother’s diets and moisturizing his skin, eczema was controlled by his first birthday. Last year during Spring his eyes and nose started to water and eventually he had wheezing. We had to give him albuterol to heal wheezing. He is still allergic to cow’s milk and even a slight contact his face turns red.

His personality is mild mannered and very obedient for a four year old.

We are seeking your advise for the following questions:

1. Is there homeopathic remedy for cow’s milk allergy ?.
2. We suspect the spring eyes and nose watering to be pollen allergy and is there anything we can give as prophylactic before the season starts this year?.
3. What remedy should we give if his eyes or nose waters in spring?

Thank you.

Hi based on the info you have given I would recommend tuburculinium 200 as a remedy to try and remove these tendancies early in his life. It can benefit him tremendously in the future (No allergies!)
Just ask more if you need to because if you are newish to Homeopathy & read Tub in a book you may not know why its being
prescribed. Bye

Hi. Agree with govi on the most, ecept that tuberculinum 200 is to low, its chance of creating unwanted reaction is to high, use one m, one dose instead, but do give one dose sulphur x30 first, just to ensure that a vaxne does not block tub from working as supposed.
And also, watch the symptomes during a mont after the dose of tub, as this will reveal the next remedy if there is needed one.
Usually this will be calc carb.

Dear Geetha,

While reporting about an infant one should add (at least) about the parents -the diseases they have mainly suffered from ,the temperament of the child his diet and bowel habits.

Dear Drs. Govi, GM and Singh,

Thank you all for your prompt responses.

I will attempt to give you as much information as possible so that you all can get a better picture of our family and son in particular.

Family:
We are a young family, both parents are in early to mid thirties. Two children, son 4 years old and daughter 2 years old. Daughter has no milk allergy and we think it is because mother abstained from taking milk during pregnancy. Our diet is vegetarian, occasionally we do eat fish. No eggs or meat of any variety. Parents have no major diseases except for the occasional flu or cold. Grandmother from mother’s side has asthma and grandfather from father’s side passed away of colon cancer.

We are very new homeopathy and were introduced to it only a year and half ago. We use Standard Homeopathic’s home care kit 30C potency and refer a couple of popular American Homeopathic Homecare books. We treat simple aliments like cold, fever, cough etc ourselves and had some amount of success.

Our 4 year old son:
He started going to school/day care at 2 years and 9 months. Last year in spring his eyes and nose started to water. It is worse especially after waking up from his afternoon nap. So we referred to the books and gave him Gelseminum 30C and it clears up right away. How-ever the symptoms come back after a few days. So a friend of ours suggested giving one dose of Gelsemium 200C. We did that it relieved the symptoms for a long time. Then the summer came and in his school they keep the rooms cold and go out for playing. This sudden change in weather (stepping out into hot weather from a cold room and back) started giving him a cough. So at our friend’s suggestion we gave him sticta pulmonary 30C. It also made him better. This friend of ours is not a homeopathic physician but has a lot of practical wisdom.

His personality is mild mannered and obedient for a 4 year old. When we sat down with his teacher last month this is what she had to say: “he is well liked by everyone. Never gets into trouble with other children. When we ask him to sing a song he doesn’t sing, but he turns around and sings with his friends. At lunch time he looks around and watches what others are doing and when the lunch time is over hurries to eat his lunch. In the beginning he didn’t say when he wanted to use the bathroom, now says at least six times ”.

Almost everyday he has one bowel movement after coming back from the school at round 6:30 PM. It is of normal consistency. Morning when he wakes up he wants his father to sleep with for a while. When school has some special activity very excited to go to school. Occasionally there used to be some hesitation. He like to play in the swing very fast and likes his father to pick him up swing fast too. Like to be read books and yesterday he was telling his father to bring some scary books. Tries to provoke his sister by saying “no” when ever she says some thing. He will stickup for his sister when we try to discipline her.

We read Dr. Clarke’s tuberculinum description and are not that homeopathy knowledgeable to make a decision. How ever we do see the milk aversion in his description. So your help and suggestions are deeply appreciated.

Dr. GM, we would appreciate if you could explain a little more on the reaction you mentioned in your response. We live in the US and he was given all immunization shots prescribed in this country.

That is it for now. I also want to reiterate that we ( my whole family ) do appreciate your time and suggestions.

Thank you and you all have a good day.

Namasthe Geetha,

Can you please provide more information:

1. Does he have any fears? ( heights, dark, animals etc)
2. How does he interact with the other kids at school?
3. When he sweats, where does it usually show up?
4. Does he enjoy bathing?
5. What are his food cravings, and like wise what he intensely dislikes?
6. What is his sleeping habits? Position, covers, which side etc.

Namasthe mom-of-2

Thanks for your reply.

I will answer the questions in the same order:

1. He doesn’t show or say any specific fears. Some times he says monsters will come. Some times he wants some one to turn the bathroom light on, other times he does it by himself. Yesterday while I was dropping him at the school, in the car he was saying he does not want to grow big because there won’t be anything left when he grows big. When asked specifically what, he asked me where did I buy my jacket. When I told the name of the shop, he said there won’t be any left in that shop when he grows big. I don’t know if it is a fear, but thought will mention it.
2. I think he interacts well with other children. There is a girl in his class who is very friendly with him. She keeps asking us whether he could go to her house. He also talks very much about her at home. There are also a couple of other boys who are very friendly with him.
3. Head. In the summer during the afternoon nap time if we don’t keep the temperature low, he his head will be in a pool of sweat. So we cut and keep his hair very low.
4. He likes sweet food and dislikes spicy food. Can not handle any of the Indian curries. He loves to go out and eat, so we mainly go to salad bars and Chinese buffets.
5. He sleeps on his right side. Does not like sleeping blankets any more, however sleeps under a comforter well. Likes to have dim light in the room while going to sleep. Also his father has to read him a bed time story.

Thank you and have a good day.

Dreams of big black forms, and monsters, is tyberculinum and calciumsymptomes, also found in sulphur, sulphur takes iout heavymetals, and mercury, who is found as a component of vaxines, every vaxine contains a small amount of merc, as they use a filtering metode of serum, under the process of making vaxines, the filters contains mercurey. Nad mercury forced on the body causes a fake disease, blocking several remedies, like tuberculinum , they dont work, or work superficially, Thuja, the favourite of the ignorant, is outdated, tests shows that its not capable of handling those vaxines, sulph is safe, acts fast, and reveals if a new remeyd must be chosed, the pros favourite.
But som cla assicals wont learn, ever.
phatology, and anatomi, is a lack today, also common sense, etc.

Hi there Geetha,

Greetings,
I don’t see any mental or emotional states pointing to Tuberculinum. The fears that you described are not very pronounced, atleast from what I gathered. Your son is too mild mannered, obedient and well liked to be Tuberculinum. So, my recommendation would be not to consider Tuberculinum. Just for your understanding; http://homeoint.org/books/boericmm/mmtitu.htm#TUB

Also at this link, you could educate yourself why some remedies are chosen and some not.

So, the first remedy that seems to fit at this point is Sulphur. I would start off with 30c.

We could be seeing Calc or Phos or other remedy down the road.

Good luck Geetha.

By the way there is a Dosai place in Edison that I used to visit while I was there. Forget its name, but it was absolutely delicious.

Lisa & Bro, I hope you guys like the quote?
can you'll guess who quoted this?

With peace & love
