Help, I'm drowning in phlegm and I can't take it anymore. I posted yesterday but did not include my password. I guess my history is in cyberspace somewhere. I am a 43 woman and for as long as I can remember I've been a year round mucus producing machine. I went through allergy testing and have been told I'm allergic to dust but wasn't interested in conventional treatment. This mucus sits in my sinuses and creates pressure and frequent infections which I do not take antibiotics for. I know the early symptoms and usually take licorice root for the inflammation and then work on boosting my immune system. Things are not better or worse during different seasons, or different times of the day. I spend the day pressing on different places on my face and snorting to temporarily releive the congestion. Sometimes when I bend over the pressure is relieved and without much warning at all thin waterlike fluid comes running out of my nose. While it can be quite embarrassing it relieves the pressure and that always feels better.
EVERY TIME I swallow there is a crackling in my ears. It was explained to me that the chronically swollen sinuses are pressing on the eustachian tubes. When I swallow the pressure is relieved temporarily and of course, when I finish swallowing the sinuses press back on the tubes. That's supposed to be what I'm hearing. I have seen a Homeopath M.D. who also does acupuncture. He treated me with Sabadilla and acupuncture. He gave me other remedys but he's from the old school and won't tell me what he's giving me. I pried out of him that he gave me Sabadilla only because I had already taken it. I prefer to know what's going on and I saw no difference after four months and three visits.
I am being closely monitored for glaucoma. The pressure in my eyes is high at one visit, and normal high the next. My father and his mother both had glaucoma. Just starting to wear glasses for close up work like sewing, but don't wear them for reading. I have a few freckles on my forearms, a mole on my back and several skin tags on my chest and neck. I have an olive complexion and tan easily. My hair is medium brown, course and thick. I had acne and at age 25 took acutane. I have oily skin and still get one or two pimples preceding menses.
My nails are not strong and therefore don't get very long. There are no spots on them, they do not crack.
I dislike cold weather. I get cold very easily. From late September to May I'm usually cold. The older I get the colder I get.
I am afraid of guns, I don't even like to see them locked in a case. I love to look at fireworks but don't like to be anywhere near where they are being set off.
I love animals and tolerate bugs well. I don't like bugs but will catch or scoop them up and take them outside.
I like good dark chocolate but don't crave it or anything else. I enjoy sweets, cake, cookies, pies. Certain vegetables make me gag. I prefer veggies raw.
I often stop short in the middle of a sentence at a loss for the next word I was looking for. This has been happening since I was 30 and happens often. I have a mouth full of amalgam fillings. I had blood work done awhile ago. Mercury level was within range. My bilirubin was a little high.
Had tonsils and adenoids removed at 18 months. Had all typical vaccines of the late 50's, early 60's. Was vaccinated for small pox twice (I think once was the norm) Had another MMR about 10 years ago for college requirements.
I had a cyst removed from the base of my spine at 16 (can't remember what it's called) I had a spinal headache for a week. When I was 33 I had a true benign cyst on my pancreas. It was drained and grew back immediately and attached to everything around it. Last minute gallstone pain tipped the surgeon off to where the cyst originated. These cyst are caused either by gallstones or acute alcoholism. I had surgery to remove the gallbladder, (which was badly diseased and creating stones without pain for awhile), my spleen and 2/3 of my pancreas. My blood sugar is fine. That was my last cyst. One month is the hospital taught me two things. There's got to be a better way,and most doctors do not listen to what you are telling them.
I have three children all full term vaginal deliveries. Had trouble conceiving the 2nd and 3rd. I took clomid.
I'm a happy person, glad to be alive, thankful for the miracle of each new day.
I often start things and don't finish, I struggle to stay organized. I'm always busy but don't feel like I accomplish anything. I enjoy helping others but also enjoy the few hours a day I spend alone. If there is any more info I can offer to help you paint a picture please let me know. I look forward to hearing your response. Thanks, DP

Allergy to milk and milk products is a typical cause of this kind of sinusitis

The given symptomes gives calc c, use one dose one m, once only, report back regulary.
avoid camphor, and other remedies.
Old reocurring symptomes confirm the remedies work.

Allergy tests are very seldom correct

My daughter is milk intolerant yet allergy tests show nothing

She gets exactly the same problem with sinuses as you if she has any milk

Why do you think GM has suggested CalcC

GM, before ordering remedy I wanted to clarify calc c is calcarea carbonica and not calc caust.
Some ad'l things I didn't mention is varicous veins in my right calf and foot. My right ankle and inner foot are basically purple. I had larger veins in right leg injected and now it only bothers me on the first day of my period. It burns, throbs and feels like it weighs an extra 10 pounds.
I sometimes get constipated and what tips me off that I have to take the time to sit and give this some effort is a certain kind of headache that I now recognize. The headache is gone within of having a bowel movement.
Yes, my feet are clammy, it's where I sweat. Rarely do I sweat under my arms. Because my feet are cold all of the time I always have socks on, I have to be careful of fissures behind my little toes which curl under.
My sleep is very good and since my last child has weaned it is sound. My husband usually hears the children at night before I do.
I love the sun and being outdoors, unless it's cold. My favorite kind of vacation is spent on a beach somewhere.

Hi GM, no mystery here. I went to Clarke's MM to decipher what you meant by Calc c. I saw Calc, which is Calcarea Carbonica and Calc Caust. That's where I got that. When I read calc carbonica there I was, things I forgot to mention, like being considered the slowest eater on the face of the earth. Of course, I don't see it. Anyway, I took calc c 1m on the 12th of December and nothing, I mean nothing, has happened. Do I just need to be more patient?
