Yes i agree. In fact I remember taking Phos 200 for just this condition when I was a new homeopath - whether I messed it up at that point or not I don't know, but it cured it at the time. I think to wait also

Hi GM
Here's a brief update. I'm now fine again -didn't take any other remedy. I've ended up with an enormous genital herpes - not pleasant, but going now (usual symptom for me after some acute). It demonstrates the law of cure anyway! if we needed any proof. I feel great.
Two questions: If I get another migraine in 3 or 4 weeks what to do?
I've not smelled any coffee, eaten chocolate or cola - do I need to keep avoiding these?
Thanks again for all your help.

I know this is a really dumb question(s) and I'm embarrassed to ask....but...

I understand the basic premise of the Relationship of Remedies but would like to know if the remedies under each heading are suggested because it is the "area" that remains uncured by the original remedy, for new symptoms that showed after use of the prescribed remedy and/or should original disease symptoms ("areas") still be factored in. I thought it was aimed at what symptoms remain after use of the chosen remedy but actually not sure about that.

Also confused by the listing for "aggravation". Does that refer to aggravations from the use of the chosen remedy or current influences that are causing aggravations? Exactly what is covered by "localities" and "sensations"....and what heading would include organ difficulties like liver, kidneys or lungs, for instance?

I know this is asking for a teaching course and would be time consuming, so if anyone knows of a site (checked Little's site)or literature that goes into a good explanation of the Relationship of Remedies I would be grateful.

Thank you.

Damn!! here's another migraine. Woke with aura and it developed during the day. Exactly one month since last "almost migraine" which responded to Ph Ac 1M. So I took that remedy again after 24 hours but it didn't work. Did I do the wrong thing? GM do you think it's time for the Calc Phos? I haven't had coffee and only one teeny weeny bit of chocolate, or maybe Ph Ac 10M since it worked so well. I'd be grateful for your input.

Thanks for replying.
I've still got the migraine(they usually last about 3 - 4 days)
I'll have some coffee. Phos or calc phos makes sense to me. Interestingly I've been vegetarian for over 10 years, but found I've wanted to eat smoked salmon and icecream this last 2or3 weeks!! strong indications for phos.

More to calc phos, i would say. esp when wanting smoked salmon, and cocoa at the same time.
Could also give tuberculinum.

I had Tub cm on October 5th before I started treatment with you GM. Reading Calc Phos and Phos up I would say calc phos fits better, and its a remedy I've never had! Also since I also have osteoporosis it would seem the best remedy. I still have the migraine, so should probably wait til its over -right?, and if you agree I'll take Calc Phos 1M.
