My daughter is 11 years old and hasn’t been feeling that well for the past couple of months. She’s been getting chilled very easily when she used to always be warm. She has no fever, in fact her temperature has been below 98.6. She has chapped lips and her skin has been very dry especially her legs and knuckles. She sometimes gets an itchy rash on her feet and the dry skin on her legs is sometimes itchy. Her nose has been stuffed up, has been sneezing and coughing, and she frequently wakes up with a sore throat that goes away after she’s been up for awhile.
Her moods can change very quickly. She’ll be laughing and joking and the next moment can become very sensitive by something that was said and start crying or gets angry. If she’s hungry she becomes very irritable and has to eat something right away. She eats many small meals throughout the day. She’s really been complaining about everything lately. Her favorite colors are purple and blue. She likes the autumn season with the cool air. As a baby she had colic. She would get reactions to the immunizations and the skin on her feet would peel. The homeopath at that time gave her chamomile for the colic and sulfur for the immunization reaction. She is cavity prone and really dislikes the dentist. She’s a good student. Likes running, basketball and tap dancing. She very affectionate when she’s in a good mood. Last June when she had her physical for school, she had one hepatitis shot but I did not have her get the remaining 2 for that series. Since last spring, she had 2 episodes of ticks being embedded under the skin but did not show any signs of rash or other symptoms. Her system doesn’t seem to be quite right. I would really appreciate any help. I’m worried that this could turn into something more serious. Best regards, Sue K |

Dear Anna,
She's very sweet. Everyone likes her. Has no vision problems. Her skin problems are the dry skin on her legs, especially her knees, elbows and knuckles. Her knuckles have been cracking and bleed a little. She says she like the fall and spring best for seasons. This seems to be the time she has the most health problems, usually cold and sinus related. She has no known fears. She's very clingy to me and always likes to be around me. She doesn't particularly like chocolate but likes the really sweet candy with the artificial colorings. She's been running cross country after school and now joined basketball. She has practice every day, 2 hours after school and this is why I think she gets run down. She rests on the weekends and seems to recuperate at this time. When she was 6 years old she had reoccurring bronchitis and the homeopath that treated her gave her silicea 200 and he told me to have her repeat it every couple of weeks. She hasn't had an episode since. I haven't given that in quite a while. She sleeps fine. I hope that this is enough information. Best regards, Sue K |

The few given symptomes, gives only lycopodium, clavatum, i suggest one dose 200, once, only, avoid coffe, coca cola, pepsi, diet sodas, and , add vitamin a, d ,e and k, in normal doses.
And report back regulary, it , seem to me that the bronchites, was supressed, so we migth see a reocurring of that during this treatment, 200, works one month. ------------------ Homeopat MNNH Geir Marcussen. http://members.home.net/franske/naturalway.html e-mail. getm@eunet.no |

The embedded ticks that she had did not appear to be deer ticks. She did not have a rash nor any of the classic lyme symptoms. She said she's afraid after watching a scary movie but that does not last long. I don't know if this is significant but sometimes when she sleeps she likes to be covered up but wants her feet hanging out. When she was a toddler we has to cut the feet off the footed pajamas because her feet would sweat too much.
Frequently, she will get white spots under the skin on the palms of her hands that itch. Also, the skin on her finger tips will become cracked and peel. The skin underneath is pink and sensitive. These symptoms come and go but it's always the same ones that reoccur. Best regards, Sue K |

The last given info, changes the picture, and it gives sulphur, use one dose 200, then wait and monitor, take notes of all symptomes, as they lead to further handling of the case.
Avoid only camphor. Lyc, might show completely later. ------------------ Homeopat MNNH Geir Marcussen. http://members.home.net/franske/naturalway.html e-mail. getm@eunet.no |

It's been a couple of weeks since I gave her the Sulph 200. Her moods and temperment have stabilized. Her skin has improved slightly where her lips and knuckles are not cracked but are still very dry. She is stuffed up, coughs at night(I think from her sinuses) which does not seem to be clearing up. Should we continue to wait?
Thanks, Sue K |

Hi,
My daughter is now 16 years old. She still continues to have these same re-occurring symptoms. Currently, her hands and feet are always cold and she always says that she is cold. Her moods are up and down, which could be normal for a girl her age. She has the ability to do better with her school work but procrastinates and then ends up tired and irritable because she's trying to finish up at the last moment. She loves being on the computer chatting with her friends which is why her school work gets so delayed. The last remedy I gave her was Sulph 30 which helped with her skin dryness. Any suggestions for her coldness would be greatly appreciated. Best regards, Sue K |
