I do have a friend, 46 who could need some help. She is having this flushes, she has have them for the last 3-4 years. Now it begin to show up at night too, she wakes up one hour after she fall asleep, is bathing in swet, very thirsty and feels that she is going to be suffocated. She can´t tolerate any clothing around the neck, never could. She has this weak memory, can´t remember where she puts different things and when she is looking for them she gets angry and get those flushes again and got perspirated palms with red discoloration. She is very loquatios and people says she is jelous. So, I thought of Lach of course, BUT... She has mostly right-sided symptoms.SHe has burning feet, always had, doesn´t need any boots in the winter. She weeps very frequently, she leaves in the past. She thinks about past events very often and weeps when she thinks about it. Her mother died for a few years ago, and she lost her properties. She is always talking about money, possessions, it´s very important to her to have expensive, "trade-mark" clothes, even if she hasn´t got money for food. She says, that that´s her, furs and expensive shoes, juwelery. She expects people to help her, it´s just natural, she leaves at a friend´s flat (with her friend and her husband), she doesn´t pay anything and she complains about the man that he can´t behave and he drives her crazy with it. He should take some regard to her and so on... (She did the same thing for many of her friends, she supported a few of them when she had money, gave them cars, rings, antiquities...) Theese THINGS are very important to her. She has always right, you can´t disscuss with her, she doesn´t even listens to you, because she knows best! Her problems are worse, you just have to understand it! (drives me )Wants to be alone, but doesn´t like loneliness. She wants company and consolation. She doesn´t like milk, can´t eat cabbage, onion, garlic, spicy food. Lately she can´t tolerate pork, she gets acne rosacea on the nose, she throws if she has some chicken, and had diaorrhea from boiled meat. Desires sweets, chocolate, olives, pastry. Has fear of poverty and high places. (Likes birds but they disgust her) Sleeping position: right side, if left she fels constriction in chest.
Then I thought about Lyc, but I´m sure it´s something else, I´m not good enough to see clear... (She has a Sulphur apperence )
Oh, in childhood had reumathic fever, heart-problems, when she was 13 she got tarentism(?)and since then she is trembling all over her body, but what can be observed is only a trembling of her hands, agg by anger.

So, what do you think about this one?

No, I haven´t. That is the first time she wants to try homeopathy

Of course this is just 10 cents worth...but have you considered Sepia "the b*tch" remedy for your freind? For obvious reasons along with the
hot flashes (flushes) = hormonal

Lach is not the only remedy with aversion to having anything round the neck. Some of her symptoms point to Lyc (opposite of Lach)...

Considering she can't eat pork at the moment, made me think of Sepia - isn't it Sepia that cannot tolerate pork? Haven't looked it up - not feeling brill at the mo.

Also, thought of Puls with the temperament you described - generous in the past and yet now a bit snarky and indignant. And Nat mur for the sadness..but not sure - does she hold things in? And then complain to others? Also, living in the past...can't recall for sure..is that NM?

Interesting case to ponder...when I feel a little better, I'm gonna go through and see what I come up with - a little teething for me if you don't mind, VS.

Sepia, seem indicated , yes, others to think of is cimicifuga, and kali carb.
But Sepia, is most forward in this given info.

I was having server-problems, but it´s nice to see that so many of you are willing to help Thanks.
Weel, there were a few other things, she can´t wear wool and that is Puls and Sulph in the Rep. Then she always wants to be in the center of everything, as soon someone begins to talk, she has something even more important to say. She never felt loved when she was a child, but she loved her mother and father, so I don´t really get it.Perhaps too little attention, because paretns had a large society-life...(but I know, GM, it´s only speculations, what we know is what she told). She had her tonsils removed in childhood, but they "came" back. Also scaly foot soles, 6-7 years ago had bad itching,she scratched untill it was bleeding... OK, so you "guys" (Lisa, Zmyst and GM ) think I should take a look at Sepia? I will. While my server was down I was too thinking about Sulph, Hoppitt... I´m still confused
