I will describe her current picture. Her skin is dry. The the skin between the nostrils is red and raw. Slight rash below/around right nostril. Right nostril currently has thick green/yellow discharge. Right cheek definitely more red than the left. One red spot(pimple-like) on right side of face. She has a rash on her elbows and fore arms. Rash on back of hands, by thumbs. Rash all over stomach, bumps are tiny. Rash also on left side of back (not backside). Her bowels have slowed. Didn't go yesterday. Went a lot today, dark brown, liquidy. She usually goes twice daily, and it is usually light brown. (Bowels have been slow for a while.) Her problems seemed to start in September, when I took Thuja. But her symptoms didn't seem related. I have since taken a higher dose earlier this month. I have also lost 10-15 pounds since September. I know they say not to lose weight quickly when nursing. But I just started eating more O friendly foods and exercising. She has started spitting out food that she asks for. I was so concerned last week that I took her to the doctor. He found nothing "wrong", no sores or sore throat, etc. This week, I have noticed more gagging of foods. She has always had a tendency to put too much in her mouth, but has been able to handle it. This week, she has a definite preference for the right breast. She nurses at least 3 times a day, if not more, mostly to fall sleep, or in the middle of the night. Otherwise, she seems to be developing well. Her language is taking off all of the sudden, she is starting to play with dolls. I gave her cc last week, as she had responded well to that in the past. Two other members of my family complained of flu symptoms this weekend and gave them coffea 12x, one dose. She was acting strange, so gave her a dose as well. The coff worked well for them, but she seemed worse. Gave her camp 30x last night. She seemed to feel better today. So I gave her another dose tonight. Where do I go from here? Do I need to antidote the Thuja I took? I am having great results from it. Thanks! Oh- by the way, she has really warm feet. With this cold weather we have now, she refuses to wear socks around the house, and her feet are warm to the touch. [This message has been edited by mamma3 (edited 21 November 2000).] |

GM - looks to me like a case for Lyc. [right sided complalints, constipation not fully resolved by Calc, and follows calc, rash and skin condition indicating liver involvement]
What do you make of it? |

My face has been breaking out for the past 4+ years. I started taking Spirulina in an attempt to improve my liver in September. I had to give up oats as well (a no no for O's anyway). I am seeing some postive in my skin. Thought I would mention this, since Anna mentioned liver.

Thought I would add something I noticed this morning. I think I have thrush on my nipples. Red bumps. Her tongue is white, red, strawberry seed-like bumps on it. I'm wondering if thrush is what the rash around her right nostril is. ???

Myself, Thuja 200c in September, Thuja 1M in Novemeber. Perhaps low dose of arnica or Hyp., that goes for both of us.
Her, she had the caps put on in Sept. Gave cc 200c to help with future cavity prevention. Gave arnica 30 prior to procedure, staph 12 after. Gave camphor 30 a few weeks later as you thought she might be reacting to cc; bad cough. Cough improved only slightly. Then cough got worse.... Gave camphor 30 again. Cough didn't resolve until the weather got really cold here, a few weeks ago. The constipation, gagging started... That's when I gave her cc 1M last week. Then coffea 12 this weekend. She had a fever prior. Threw up on Sun, so gave camphor 30. Gave camphor 30 last night. Rash seems better today, slightly. Nose has right nostril with thick green/yellow mucus "just sitting there", but produces a crusty look below her nose. I hate to wipe too much, as it looks so sore. Back to the thrush... it could be just an allergic reaction to left over food in her mouth. I had this with my other two, but a lot earlier. I must be getting lax in having her drink water before nursing due to all this other craziness. [This message has been edited by mamma3 (edited 21 November 2000).] |
