Hi Ollie,
I suffered from Migraines from age 12 up until about 9 or 10 months ago.

It was ONLY when I found a chiro (a good one!!!) in conjunction with Homeopathic treatment, that my migraines stopped. I took the drug Midrid (aka Midrin) from age 17 - 35!. I used to carry it in my handbag EVERYWHERE I went.

I no longer carry it - and felt confident enough to throw the rest of the pills out - about 6 months ago!

I just said all this to help you to understand how important this can be. I didn't understand how important a good adjustment could be until I experienced it for myself. There was a place in my neck that was minorly out of alignment - and once it was back in place...no more intense migraines. I did get a couple (less severe) as my treatment progressed, but when they came, I went back to the chiro - and in my case, nothing was out of alignment, and it turned out to be the rem moving stuff out of me.

Also, my chiro is also an osteopath - so he combined the two while working on me. (I used to be highly sceptical of chiros'! My experience with them in the US was BAD! Unlucky, I guess). But, do try to find one - you won't regret it. Do it when you are able to .

Good luck.
Lisa

A good osteopath is better than a chiropractor in my experience.
There is a superb osteopath I can recommend in Sussex if that's any help.

Thanks everyone,
I think I will have to try and get to a chiropracter can anyone reccomend a good one in Suffolk?
Anna, I did visit an osteopath when I had quite severe sciatic pain, caused by my old disc injury I had a course of treatment which did absolutely nothing and he advised me that perhaps osteopathy was not right for me.I then tried reflexology and after three months of this combined with massage and reiki I was completely pain free and have not had more than the occasional twinge for more than a year.
I'd be really interested in the homeopathic take on these other remedies and whether or not they can be complimentary to homeopathy
Unfortunately my reflexologist moved away and I have never found another who was as good, but then I haven't needed it.

Get the tailbone checked, you may need an operation to get in order!

Cool

O.K. guys, I give up. I'll see if I can find a chiropracter near enough to get to.
Lisa, thanks for your encouraging comments, I do realise how important it is to get this sorted properly and I thank you all for your help so far.
I'll keep on checking in and posting.
Ollie
