reg your fears, have you tride to check out cann ind?? it has a lot to offer you, i think, it shares lot with sulph, and other remedies..fear of drowning..flying..sleepyness..cold..and a lot more..

I can't access the archives on that site, which is why I couldn't find the relevant info.

I found that I was looking at two remedies whose only similarity seems to be that they are ranunculacae. I want to discover what are the unifying qualities of the ranunculacae remedies.

Don't think it's Cannabis thanks. There's no aetiology for it and all the fears in the case are related to one central fear. Drowning, flying etc are all secondary and consequential.

Whats unifying them, is often contents as aluminium..or calc.., the contents of cadmium, unifies cann i, with the solanaceas, as alumina does in solanaceas..
I belive raunuculus, is calc.. and closest is prob calc, and mercurius.
remedies to look at, closest in action to ran, is Dulcamara,Bryonia ( wewe duscussed bry before as you would recall, a good option)Mezereum, also possible..very possibl indeed, and Sulphur..and cact, Cimicifuga+pulsatilla.is equal followers of ran.

Anna, you said that there is no aetiology for cannibis, but does it matter if one has used it or not?? I mean - aren't the symptoms the guiding factor to a remedy, rather than past usage - or non-usuage of a substance??

Just learning here...and this stumped me for a second..but my guess is that it wouldn't matter if cannibis had been used in the past for the rem to be indicated - as long as the symptoms fit the rem.

well, I guess I'll see an answer on this from someone...as to whether I understand or don't!
