Hi,
I am writing again on behalf of a friend. This time it is a man of 40 yrs who has diagnosed for about 5 yrs ago to have renal insufficiency. This summer his creatinine has increased from 119 to 153 and his blood pressure from 115/75 to 150/83-96. Medical doctors have now ordered him a strong medication for blood pressure. He has also medication for cholesterol which has decreased to 4,5 mmol/l but still they increase the dose.
He is kind, calm man, married and has two children. He is athletic and loves excercising, weight lifting etc. He is quite dark with brown eyes and dark hair which has started to grow grey.
All his life he has been very healthy. This ailment was found in a routine check and it has given no other symptoms than the color of the urine which is always quite dark and if he gets fever it becomes black.
This all started a year after their financial situation crashed. He had put his name to his brother´s debt paper and suddenly he had to pay it all and he is still paying it for two years more. He said that it changed his life, all the plans, dreams had to be put aside and now they have to count pennies to manage a whole month. They had to sell their appartement and car and move to a smaller town to live cheaper.
He has started to get panic attacks in crowds and cannot thus travel in a bus anymore. He says he has always (since childhood) cried inwards, if you can understand that expression. He is reserved, but has two close friends in his job with whom he can talk about everything.
He is chilly and doesn´t sweat easily. He has learned to drink a lot and prefers room tempered water. He hates fish, otherwise he eats everything but hot food doesn´t suit for his stomach.
He has read a lot about this disease and tries to live as healthy as possible and is now shocked and desperate about the changes.
For me his bloodpressure seems quite normal but the doctors try to low the creatinine with lowering the bloodpressure more.
Do you think homeopathy could give him some chance to get better or even to be cured?

I have just received a phonecall from this man and he told that doctors want him to start corticosteroids just immediately as they have found out from the biobsia (don´t know how to write it)that this disease is now going to deteriorate his kidneys fast.
What do you think he should do? I cannot directly say that don´t start that. How soon he should see some improvement after Nat.m?
He is really depressed now, please tell your thoughts so that I can put my own thoughts in order to talk with him and calm him a bit.

if nm works, it works fast.and he should be able to feel it after 3 days..and, corticosteroids..well, they dont stop the disease at all, only keep it checked.>And, the result of prolonged use of corticosteroids, is lots of diseases, cause this is a stresshormone, anti inflammatory, and it will shrink the kidneys..give glomuleronephprites.. and nm will probably not work when on that, use 10 m of nm one dose.

Now it is four days since nat.m 10M. He was extremely anxious for the two first days, full of fears. He was also afraid that homeopathy cannot work because he is so worried. He got then a flu which is going through their family. Had some fever, but the urine didn´t change color to any darker. Still has the flu and coughs a little. Said that this morning (4th day) he was again a little more worried. Has not taken anything to the flu and has not had any headaches which he normally has when so tense as he has been.
19th Oct he will go to blood tests for the serum creatinine. He is continuing medication to cholesterol and RR.
Opinions appreciated...just waiting, if so how long?

Hello again,
this fellow had the blood test for creatinine yesterday and it had gone up from 153 to 166. Otherwise he has felt many positive feelings - some warm flushes from top to toe and relaxed feeling. He also had burning pain in back both sides on the kidney area twice a week after the remedy. I considered that it worked well, but the creatinine value is not showing any positive progress. Please GM, we would really appreciate your advice here!

I would need a lot more of his medical historie than this, and symptomes, if any.
But, you, may try one dose of suphur 200.
It will normally lower bloodpressure, if not nam has done that.Other remedies, that is possible, is lyc or calc phos. esp calc phos.

Thanks GM. He has no medical history before this. He really has been a very healthy and strong man, only a couple of antibiotics for some flu, no tonsillitis, nothing. Could you please ask some direct questions that I could understand what you need to know more.
He excercises very much, weight lifting and running and the only symptom that is obvious is the colour of urine, but it too has been more normal after nat.m.
Interesting is that his both parents (now 60 yrs old) are extremely healthy, but children (3 girls and 3 boys) have some problems every one. One daughter has epilepsy, which was diagnosed when adult, the other sister has rheuma, one brother has had brain tumor. Don´t know if it was malign as it is the same one who caused the financial disaster and they don´t communicate at all.
The next control is in December, then they take all tests. He seems to be very insecure and loses his nightsleep very easily after this worsening in summer.

Wel, not mutch of use, any spots on nails, moles, frecles, any wrong with nails? Visionfaults? Do he sleep with the window open?
When is his best time, of day, of year?
Any preferred food, any aversions, something that disagree?
Any reocurring dreams?
