Cool

Hello, I discovered this web site 10.9.00 and appreciate the attentive responses to inquiries! Maybe you can assist me with a homeopathic remedy.

My name is Susan, I’m in my early 30’s, born in November, 5’7”, normal healthy build at weight of 130 +-.

My main complaint is dealing with anger. Ever since I stopped working I really don’t have the high stress anger from being pressed for time, but starting at midnight to 4 am, approximately 25 rubish trucks barrel down my street to drop of the days take. These are extremely loud and effects me with extreme anger. The anger (and this accounts for my anger in all situations) I can physically feel this emotion go all through my body with a concentration in the groin area. Is there homeopathic medicine I can take to become less sensitive to the noise and all noise in general (also light and sound). I’m trying to find some type of therapy to be above this noise thing as well.

Another chronic problem is my weekend binge drinking. It’s not that I crave alcohol, I just crave to escape from the norm/escape from reality. I’ve been doing this for a couple of years. (I suffer from depression if I don’t drink and if I do.)

Another chronic is a respiratory stagnation. I quit smoking a few years ago, but I think the violently ill vomiting after drinking, bulimia since 19 yrs old, and biking in a congested city have contributed to a constant pain in my chest (possible stagnated mucus). I’m sensitive to environmental pollutants and angered by it. What about a homeopathic remedy for this?

I've had a problem with Bruxism for over 2 years now.

Believe it or not, I am a health conscious person, eating basically organic whole foods, making from scratch, yet have gone off track eating things I wouldn’t normally- and that effects my moods in the negative. I love hot spicy foods, seaweed, ben and jerry’s, seafoods, an occasional steak, and dislike or no interest in pasta. I have always eaten late at night before I go to bed as I enjoy this rewarded ritual. I drink distilled or spring water.

I have low to no sexual desires with other people.

My menses are often on schedule. The first two days I bleed heavy, the third no mense, then light the next two days.

My sleep is fine besides the garbage trucks!!! Urgh!!!

I am generally aggravated by incompetence and lies and when things don’t go my way. I feel I am generally in tune to others feelings and all little details around me. I am anti-social and adverse to cold weather.

I began taking nux vomica, 3 to 7 pellets a day/ 3 to 5 times a day, 30c. I do feel that it has help my moods. Could this also be giving me the respiratory grief?

Thanks to all for your time
~Susan

How long have you been taking the Nux Vom and who on earth prescribed it like this? I can see that Nux could be a good remedy for you but ONE DOSE ONLY in a higher potency.

Yup, stop taking the Nux 30, and say for how long you've been taking a daily dose. You might have a proving.
In any case, the cure and the antidote for the current symptoms are the same. One single unrepeated dose of NuxVom High, say a 10M. And no coffee for ten days because it antidotes.

Ricky, I was told to take this from someone online of 200c's. Are you saying to take 1 pellet of what potency.
Anna, Are you saying to take 1 pellet of 10M a day?
NO COFFEE!!! Oh no! Well, I'll try it Anna.
Is it ok to take teas that will sedate me before retiring at night?
I'm a baby at homeopathy. Thanks for the inputs, please reply again.

Hi Susan
I am definitely NOT saying that you should take one a day of 10M. Homoeopathic remedies work by stimulating the vitality of the patient to respond, and one SINGLE dose is all that is needed, NOT a daily dose.
So just take a single dose of three tablets of NuxVom 10M once only, unrepeated.
No coffee is essential, and I would advise avoiding the teas if you can. Coffee and the sedatives are working against one another in your body, and it's best to break that cycle.

Thanks Anna. I'm going to procure the 10M today and take it.....before bed? If there are any other's remedies that are suggested to take after the nux, please let me know, there is a sale in progress.
It's funny how wildly affected I am by noises more now that I just moved back to the city from the country. My sleep is little. Going to bed around 3-4 a.m. and awaking and approximately 8 a.m., when I am best functional at 8 hours of slumber. I'm sure I'll succeed in my mission!
This bb is such a wonderful service! Thanks to all. ~Susan

Anna, I can't find the Nux 10M, I do have the 30C and can possibly get the 12C. What to do in specifics please. Also should I stay away from vitamins and particuliar foods that might antidote? It all seems so sensitive, like I should do a fast during this time of taking nux. Thanks, susan.

Anna seems to be right. I would try and get hold of one dose of Nux-v, high potency. Perhaps an M if you cannot get 10m.

Thank you.
GM, i do feel i relate to the nat mur i.e perfectionist, highly sensitive....though i love heat and the ocean and hot spicy foods. i feel i also more relate with the nux vomica i.e. weekend warrior, workaholic.....
Would you suggest the nat mur as a layer or merely alone? (My understanding of layers is using one single remedy first to correct, then another.)
i appreciate your input.

DJ, thanks for your advice as well.
I have found both of these products on line from this site.
Please reply again.

Any more info that thought is needed from me, just let me know.

This new world of homeopathy is very exciting and confusing as i am erratic in all my studies. coming from not knowing much at the time, what confuses me is what certain foods and drinks i should stay away from not to counteract the remedy. I saw a book yesterday named something like "encyclopedia of homeopathy" written in india, a detailed reference book. reading about nux in this ref. guide, everything seemed to relate to me. anyway, i didn't by it. i want to make sure i buy a reputable book though this one looks that way. Any suggestions on a detailed reference book?
