I live in the UK, and at the moment all school children are being advised to have the meningitis C vaccination.
My homeopath recently died, but I believe I remember him once saying he would only call upon concentional medicine in the case or septicemia and meningitis. (He, himself, was a trained conventional doctor, who took up homeopathy.) I would be grateful for any advice. |

Thank you for responding to my query. So are you advocating they I do not vaccinate my children? Or have them vaccinated but give them Belladonna to help with the side effects?

quote:
Originally posted by Ricky: I have been in schools when this vaccination has been done and the kids are going down like nine pins with , dizziness, nausea and blurred vision. Re meningitis I give my patients Belladonna 200 to keep in and take on the way to the hospital if they suspect this problem. By thehe time they get to the hospital, hopefully the Belladonna will have done the trick but you can't be too careful. Incidently this vaccination only covers the C strain but most cases, 60% I believe are the B strain and there is no vaccine for that anyway.

|

No vaccination.....they are harmful....I am dealing with all the after effects with my two children....if only I could go back in time....
You are wise to ask about this! But, please - if you have more questions - do ask to satify your curiosity and the knowledge will give you the strength to make your decision with conviction. Take care, Lisa

Why are they advising Menigitis Vaccine for School aged children? That is not even a high risk group for meningitis (A,W,C,and Y strains). And Ricky is right....it only covers C strain and that's more a risk for college-age students who live in dorms.(close quarters and who....dare I say....don't get their butts into a doctor when they have severe symptoms. Maybe they think that bad headache is just a hangover.)
Haemophilus B menigitis they do vaccinate for. It's called the HiB Vaccine. Risk group for that is age 5 years old and under. It is also the vaccine I suspect screwed up my son....who now has ADHD, anxiety..etc. Like Lisa...I wish I knew then....what I am learning now. Not only that....I'm developing a strong case of "confict of interest" since I work at a Health Department in Disease Control. Need a new job....one that fits with my expanding awareness. Nor do I advise for the Chicken Pox vaccine. None of the nurses that I work with think it's a good idea. See lots more problems down the road when adults more than kids start getting it. Nah... don't vaccinate for Menigitis C. It's very treatable and preventable by other means...especially in a young age group...that is minimally at risk anyway. Zmyst |

No - Belladonna is not for the after effects of the vaccination. For this it would depend on what the after effects are!! The Belladonna is the remedy I would give immediately if someone had suspect meningitis, as I said on the way to the hospital!!

Vaccination decisions are emotive and come up in my practice from time to time. I do not tell anyone whether to vaccinate or not as the decision is not mine to make. Whilst in my opinion vaccinations do more harm than good I suggest information sources so that an informed choice can be made. As you mention you are in the UK may I suggest you look at 'The Informed Parent' www.creation.1way.co.uk/theinformedparent/ or telephone JABS 01204 796433 or 0191 2623360.

Thank you so much for answering my query about the meningitist C vaccination. Could you be good enough to give me the informed parent web-site address again or confirm that that really is it, as when I click on it, my server tells me it does not exist. Thank you.

As it happens you have just missed a well-known scientist in the field of vaccination, Viera Schreibner, who has just completed her lecture tour of the UK. She included a discussion on the Menningitis C vaccine at her talks. Magda, at the Informed Parent (0181 861 1022)can be contacted if you want further information on the downfalls involved in vaccination. She organised Viera's lecture dates and is a great collector of information on vaccination, both for and against. Frank, I did not realise "The Informed Parent" had a web site address, as it is not mentioned in the newsletters, but if you find it, please let me know. |
