my daughter was taking Tuberculinum 200c as her constitutional remedy, she suffered from strabismus, and now it has gotten alot worse!
could the turberculinum 'proved' and i failed to stop the dosage quick enough and now this has made her eye problems worse?
Iam not sure if proved is the right word, i am still very new to all this!, anyhelp on why this has worsened, and what can be done to help would be greatly appreciated.

I am not a homeopath but you may need to let the experts know a few things so they can help. How long was she on the remedy? Was just one dose given or repeated doses? When did the worsening of symptoms begin? It could be an aggravation but other info is needed to determine.

over a period of a month i gave her about 15 doses,1 drop in water, gradually going up to 5 drops, she then got a cold and remedy was stopped after about 2 weeks, when the cold was gone i started again with the slow increase of dosage, she started to refuse to take it in the water,my homeopath was unavailable at the time so i gave her 2 drops per day for 3 days straight from the dropper, when i finally had contact with my homeopath she said it was ok to do so, but if she started to refuse to take it i should stop, and i did stop, since she was given the straight dose it was then we noticed the strabismus increasing, i dont know if there is a connection or not.. thanks for replying

Oh my gosh, 15 doses of Tub. 200 in one month? This is what your homeopath advised? This is very dangerous, very worrisome. I know nothing of the case and won't begin to advise here other than to say you may want to look into finding another homeopath. Classically, no remedies other than LM potency should be repeated in this manner, and Tub. or any other nosode especially. Please don't give any more doses until someone here with more experience can advise you. All the best to you...Katie

Nita, please, stop giving your daughter the remedy. It can do harm.
The way to deal with the symptoms as they are now is to have a competent homoeopath look over the full case, including the strabismus, and to prescribe on that.
If your current prescriber told you to give 15 repeat doses of Tub 200, s/he should be reported to her/his professional organisation for misconduct.

No remedy is to be used in this manner, this is the manner we use, when prooving a remedy, on ouersefl to find out its properties, this is prooving, and its dangerous, for others than pros to do. This is not giving a remedy for curing, not in LM either.If to use LM, its sucussed, dilute, changed every dqy, this is not changing, this is increasing the dose, provoking symptomes..

After seeing the posts in regard to your child you are probably worried. Please listen to what they adviseand stop giving your daughter the remedy, but also, if I were you I would post her case in full so one of the homeopaths here can take a look and advise on how to handle the situation. Take a look at some of the other posts to get an idea of what info they need, okay?

thankyou all for replying,now iam really worried!!!, Why would a homeopath do this?,my baby has been to hell and back for other medical reasons and now im getting her health damaged again!!!!I did stop the 200c when she refused it and that was over a week ago, is the strabismus being worse connected with the high dosing,i cant beleive that she would do this,is the 200c only given once?is my baby going to be ok?,she dosent need any more problems, thanks again for the help.

This case, need to be treated by a homeopat, that can controll, and antidote, and correct the wrongs that is done here, its not only to stop giving the remedy, it may give more problems over time, it has to be monitored, and dealt with.

i spoke to the homeopath today and showed her the printout of my question and the answers,she was not concerned and explained to me why she uses this method of dosage,i cannot remember the reference books or the name of the respected homeopath she uses to use the remedies in this fashion. I am still very unsure about her reasons, and i was told that cal carb may be needed to antidote the tuberlulinum by another homeopath although mine has decided not to use anything for the timebeing, she could not say if my baby's worsening strabismus is because of the remedy! i am lost at what to do now, should i stay with her or turn my back on what i thought was a caring homeopath? I was told that if it is an aggrevation from the tub 200c, it should go with time,maybe if i put in all her symptoms you could help?
