What has happened to Anna's post re the gaviscon- it's disappeared???

I deleted it because it was getting rather bizarre and I want to avoid the personal issues of various kinds being aired there.

Pat, just to remind you, I am very grateful to you for supplying that information that Gaviscon is known to be harmful, and I have taken this on board for myself and have spread the word to one of my colleages who is treating a patient who takes Gaviscon. So it has been of considerable help. Thanks again.

Anna, I thought your thread was one of the most interesting (!) I've seen on the BB and was sorry to see it end....shoot. Couldn't you put it back and keep it going a little while longer?

Pat, I did not make any false claims against you. I posted and quoted what I had said.

I said you 'almost always' - not 'always' - post aluminum info in ALMOST every thread. That is what was said, and it IS what you mostly post about...and I see no reason to take offence.

And, what about the positive things I said?? You you seem to overlook that. [I said that the info you have posted has been very helpful (esp when it's applicable to a case)!!! And, I really meant it].

In any case - I have no desire to quarrel with you. All I can hope, is that you try to look at what I post with some objectivity, rather than taking things personally, as it is not and was not meant that way. It is up to you.

First of all, what is gavisdon.. is there something comparable to that in the United States of America.

Secondly, when something is contraindicated, does that mean it fits or doesn't fit.I would think contra, against...so against being indicated?
