Dear Friends
I am sending this mail for the benefit of my Uncle who is hospitalised due to Renal Failure. Doctors are not sure as to whether the same is only acute or chronic. As to the case history it goes thus. He was having a complaint of suffocation, which we thopught was astma. Bronchile Astma is not uncommon in our city which is polluted to the core. He also took some medicines from an Ayurvedic Physician for this. This continued for a few months. In the last week of August, his condition worsened and he had also taken some inhalers to abate his agony, but with no result. Finally he approached one of our family allopathic physician. He examined him and found that the Blood Pressure was at a range of 250. Seeing this he referred the patient to a multi speciality hospital near by. By the time we reached there, the pressure had gone up to 270. The heart was failing and the patient was admitted in the Cardiac Care Unit. The Doctors there conducted many tests and told us that it was neither astma nor a heart disease. They told that the Creatine level in blood was 7 and the Urea content was 125. So it was a renal complaint. After administration of some drugs his pressure normalised and he was referred to the Senior Nephrologist. They have attempted to solve the problems with drugs but with no use. Not only that Creatine reading is now 9 and Urea 180. In this back ground, they have advised dialysis. It is told that the kidneys have "shrunk". They are said to funtion only 10%. I would be obliged if any one will be able to help us with any useful information. He had no swellings or problem with passage of Urine. He looks very healthy, walks and talks. He is now a little weak, possibly due to a week long hospitalisation and high BP. We are anxious to know if there are similar cases, if so what treatment they took etc. It is also told that the only final cure, if it is chronic renal failure is transplantation. Is there an alternative. We would be very thankful for any information or advise. I would be thankful if there is any cure for this in Homeo. HARIRAJ M.R. give one dose sulphur 12, then after 12 houers, give one dose tuberculinum bov. CM, once only, it may be repeated after a month, if nesseceary.
But, if he is to weak, use tub one m instead, and then cm after 14 days.If very weak, it may be needed to wait a bit, till he gets stronger. can not promise that it will help, but it have helped in similar cases. |
