I've given Folliculinum a few times now. Theres a great article by Melissa Assilem 'Folliculinum: Mist or Miasm'. Available in back issue of Homoeopathy Online, link from Homeopathy Home. Folliculinum has come up a lot in cases of abuse. Especially where this is percieved as an inflicted loss of power. It amazes me how wide the scope for it is. There again think how widespread the use of the pill is. Strange how people justify taking toxins by classifying pregnancy as a disease. Hormones too in menopause to avoid the wise woman years. The third aspect of the feminine principle. What exactly is wrong with growing old?

Hi,
If you know which article it is you want in the British Homoeopathic Journal then you can get a photocopy of it sent to you (for a small fee) from the British Homoeopathic Library at Hom-Inform, Glasgow Homoeopathic Hospital. Enquiries can be sent by e-mail to hom-inform@dial.pipex.com. For details see website www.hom-inform.org. |

Did you find the article on Folliculinum available online? Go to Reference Library from HHBB home page, under Articles; it is the 34th one listed.
I read it some time ago; gave it to my homeopath as I felt I matched many of the symptoms. He put me on Nat Mur; which I must admit is bringing up old emotional pain. I am going to read the article again, thanks for the reminder; especially since I am post-menopausal, now, and wonder if I should be on hormones or something. I would be interested in hearing of your impressions of the article. Thanks. ------------------ ceross |

Ceross,
The article I saw on the HH is titled "Folliculinum: Mist or Miasm ?" It is very informative. Also, I have started another discussion in the same subject ...titled "Folliculinum - dosage - need advise" ...giving the specific condition ...for my mother. Though I am not the expert on the subject....I have collected some information from internet ..for my mother, which would give you the various alternatives, risks involved (almost all the allopathy medicines have some risk associated with the medicine), controlling diet with out any medication ...etc. If interested, send me your e-mail address. I can send you the info. Regards, |

Hi,
I'am a new member to this BB and your reply triggered my interest. I'am 27 and i have secondary amenorrehea since i was 23. I had my menses very-very regularly from 13 until 23. After i got married, i became pregnant after the first couple of months and had an abortion since we were not yet prepared for children. My problem started after 6 months of my abortion and since then i never had a normal period. Right now i'am on HRT. If it helps, then my FSH levels are very high(the highest that i remember was 180) and my estrogen and progesterone levels are very low. Could you help me in this regard. thanks. <BLOCKQUOTE>quote:</font><HR>Originally posted by Ricky: I have got the oestrogen level back in a 23 yr old who had amennorhea with Foll. 7C then 4C Her level was <50 now 200+ which is normal level. glad to see someone else uses (ricky ) other alternatives like herbals (agnus cact) besides me .
along with homeopathy. have for years and has never interfeared with the process of the homeopathic remedies. When it comes to using allopathy with hom. now thats an evil combination I dont recomend (like taking hormones, ) Menopausal hormones are made from horse urine. |
