...Is still laughing from Ma's posting.

Ok I know that hoemopathy is all about patience but I don't have any...there is probably a remedy for that!

I couldn't stand the the thought of things crawling on my sons head so I found the natural oils stuff. Its called Mr Nits and it killed the louse and loosened the eggs. I also had his head shaved to a number three all over...he is looking cool now!

I live in Wellingon, Pat. Did you come here? Where are you from?

Thanks for the faces Janyce, small things amuse small minds and all that!

Glad to see you found them cjd

I was mortified to find at the age of 37 I had my first infestation last year, yuk. We really do need a smilie for that, but I think we have more pressing needs as well at the moment .

My other little device is an electric lice comb called a Robi Comb. Purchased in that well known UK high street pharmacy come chemist. They are very widely available in many stores in the UK.

I am a single parent and did not have anyone to look thru my hair regualry while I was infested. I used the conditioner and nit comb, the oils and the Robi comb to rid myself of lice without anyone to pick thru my hair. A friend did check me over a couple of times and confirmed when I was clear. I shoulder length hair, so a razor is not always necessary GM oops sorry Anna .

Hi
Interested in this use of Staph for head lice.

Does anyone know the quatity of tincture to rinse water?

Robi comb can't be used by epileptics.

Hi deb. The tincture i got was to be used directly on the head. Make partings in the hair and place a few drops in. It takes about a week for them all to be killed.

If that takes too long the stuff i found really great is called Mr Nits. It is all natural essential oils (which can antidote any remedies you are taking so be aware of that). It kills the lice and loosens the eggs making them easier to remove with a nit comb. there is a web site for it. www.botanica.co.nz

Thumbs up

Thanks CJD
Have bookmarked botanica for future use tho I was trying to avoid antidoting!!
My daughter had the dreaded nits on holiday (camping!), hence my delay in replying...
We used conditioner and a nit comb that time but they are very stubborn and do not seem to leave her alone!!
I am still unsure about staph tincture. I got the mother tincture from Helios.
Pardon my ignorance but could overuse of this externally ie. on the head lead to a proving?
