Question

Hello,

I am writing from Germany, please excuse language mistakes.

I seek help for the following problem: I am very much overweight with a bmi far above 30 (167 cm tall, weight: 97 kg).

I have the feeling that my body grows too much hair where it should not be: In my face on the chin and much above the upper lip. Also on my arms and legs there is more hair than on other women I see. Also on my breast, on my upper back and below my belly-button.

Another problem is that I menstruate very irregularly. Menses appears about 4 times in a year, sometimes I loose very, very much blood, with a lot of pain, sometimes there is very, very little with almost no pain.

Every once in a while an "Abszess" shows up and either opens up or vanishes to the inside. When it shows up Hepar sulf. and Silicea help.

I am seeing a homeopath for over 4 years now but I have the impression, I could still need better advice.

In the beginning of the year she instructed me to take Sabina LM 6 - one bottle till it is gone. So I take that in the evening every 2 or 3 days. Once a month I take Calcium carb. C 200.

Now I read one could try Fucus ves. D 1 - 15 drops three times a day to loose weight. What do you think of this?

And please, I start to suffer more from the extra hair in my face (which I shave off at the ears and pull out on the chin) than from the extra weight.

I would be very, very grateful for any advice you might have for me.

Best regards and Thank you

Melinda

This could be a polycystic ovary problem. Diet could be useful here. Eat soy protein and exercise regularly t lower the amount of free testosterone n the body. Suggest to your homeopath that the nosodes are looked at.

Definitely Polycystic ovary syndrome
watch the soy though because Thyroid is triggered by Soy

Suggest you might be better with a very good herbalist >>>>>they are very good at rebalancing female hormones in my experience

Dong Quai could be taken for a start

This is not an easy problem to treat even by allopaths

It has been said that excessive hair comes from the TB miasm. You might want to suggest that to your homeopath.

Questions

Ricky

Do I understand you right - you feel the polycystic ovaries are caused by my overweight? (A gynecologist stated this problem over a year ago and wanted me to take hormones which I refused.)

How much soy protein in grams should I eat per day? I bought reduced-fat soy-flour.

In spring I started to try to loose weight and I changed my diet to low-fat, started to work on my "Health-Rider" each morning before work and breakfast for 30 minutes. I lost 10 Kilos but for weeks my weight has not changed now.

Would Fucus vesiculosus D 1 taken 15 drops three times a day help to loose weight? Do you feel the calc. carb. C 200 every four weeks is good to loose weight?

Losing weight is sooooo difficult and I have to lose sooooo very much, so the idea of taking drops to help does not leave my mind.

very unfortunately I could not find Folliculinum by Melissa Assilem. I typed it into my search engine and it gave me a link that was impossible to open. Would you be so kind to e-mail the text if you still have it in your computer? That would be very nice and I would read it with great interest.

GM

I will read about carcinosin c 200 whatever I can find. Will it help me loose the weight and the excessive hair?

At the moment I am confused, there are now different directions to choose from and I do not know which one is the right one. My greatest wish is to loose weight and secretly I hope that this will then take care of the other problems too.

Again, thank you very much to all of you, I appreciate every word and thought that was put into my direction.

Best regards from Germany

The Url you want for the Folliculinum article is http://www.homeopathyhome.com/refere...s/follic.shtml
It is in the reference sectiuon of this site under articles.
The polycystic ovaries are not caused by overweight. It is a hormonal inbalance but it is not helped by overweight and can be helped by loosing weight. I dont know what particular amount of soy you should eat just that you should be eating it.

You sound quite confused by everything and therefore I feel you would be best discussing everything with your homeopath. Why don't you print this page and take it to her/him?

Ricky, thank you for your reply. I printet the essay and I will study it this evening when I get home from work.

I will certainly take all the information to my homeopath, although I am a little afraid she might become a little angry because I seeked advice here, too.
