I left my books 10 years ago and lately I decided to study again for a professional designation. I am having problems in concentration because its been a long time. Besides I am having a lot of warts (like skin hanging out) on my neck. Last month my homeopath had given me one dose of nat Mur for calming me since I used to get irritated very easily.

I am more concerned about the concentration aspect. I have not other problems to mention. I am aged 35

If warts then Thuja can be excellent

But sounds more like skin tags .....they come with age !!!!!!!

What about the concentration aspect. I am not worried about warts etc. Can any remedy actually helps in concentration or helps in retention?

there are an enormous number of remedies for lack of concentration, but not so many for pedunculated warts, which is why the warts are a more interesting symptom to a homoeopath. A homoeopath will get to the remedy not necessarily via the symptom that the patient presents primarily.
More info is needed to prescribe in your case.

To tell a bit about myself I was born in India but is now living in Toronto,Canada. I am an accountant by profession. I have 2 kids and I love them very much. I am tall,
normal built (not obese) aged 34. Lately I have noticed that I cannot concentrate in my studies and my mind keeps wandering. I tend to forget things. Besides I get tense very easily. If I have a job pending howsover small I get anexiety to get out of the way and is not relieved unless I complete it.I get angry easily. Lately I am busy in my studies so I sleep only 6-7 hours. I had one dose of Nat mur 1m about 3 weeks ago; normally it works but this time it did not have a lot of effect. I have small hanging skin near my neck and under arms.I take offence of someone very easily even if it is very small matter .Basically it is anger, restessness, lack of concentration. The appetite is good and I like noodles, pizza and samosas ( all salt)Dont like sweet that much .Very less thirst. I drink 1 cup of cofee in the morning, one glass of water/coke in afternoon and one coke in the evening. Due to anexiety lately the frequency of stools has increased. Otherwise normal. No history of piles etc. Urine is White. I need to go to washroom frequently, again probably due to anexiety. Sweat is normal but smelly. Sleep sound, dreams about desires like buying a house. Position of sleep is straight.

gets annoyed easily. Very particular about things to last detail; Want to finish everything pending quickly. If cannot finsish then tense, lately anger building in the mind.

Have you not contacted your homeopath? In the first instance you should really go back to them with this as you have already had a rx.

I prefer to stick to acute prescribing on the BB. However you might wish to look at the relationship between Arsenicum and Silicia. An analysis of the mentals might mislead to Arsenicum (Anger trifles, fastidious). Concentration difficult,study (75), Anger,trifles (88) & Warts,external throat (11) gives Sil,Lyc & Calc. Of these only Sil is fastidious.

The only remedy that came into my mind when reading this is Nux Vom. I will admit that I haven't repped it though. It is just a gut instinct!!

Well after reading posts and consulting my homeopath and read the materia medica about each of the remedies I seem to look at the follwoing remedies:
1. Sulpher 30
2. Slicia
3. Num vomica

However Num Vomica seem to antidode Sulpher. That leaves me with the choice of sulpher or silicia.

Which would you think is better looking at everything as a whole?
