Please view my article "Homeopathy: The Only True Cure". It is an attempt at teaching those who cannot distinguish the difference between homeopathy and naturopathy (sadly more than you can imagine). I would like input from experts in the field. Once the article is complete, we can share it with the population, so as to inform them about homeopathy in a simplistic way. The article is a http://www.discoverhealthblog.com Last edited by Luke84; 14th November 2009 at 01:11 AM. Reason: change URL |

Albert,
The simplicity of homeopathy is this: It cures disease. In my experience, 9 out of 10 people can't differentiate homeopathy from Naturopathy, they think it is related to the allopathic herbalists, or chiropractors, or anything other than what it is. I am forming a community in Face Book, with friends and family; by presenting this information in a formal way, I may be able to influence the healing of someone that I love. What do I suppose is going to happen when I try? The world is going to change! People will no longer accept disease, and we won't have to sit, and call them morons any longer. Luke |

Unfortunately Luke theres far too many people who claim to be Homeopaths who actually are pretty useless despite having suposedly qualified
I should know because i seen rather too many the last of which came highly recomended and is supposed to be a teacher sadly none of them got to grips with truly solving my problem Finding a true Hahnemanian Homeopath is extremely difficult The one on this forum who truly qualifies in that sphere does not receive the credit thats due and is wholly misunderstood |

Myankle,
You're quite right The difficulty does lie in finding a genuine homeopath. What patients need is a guide on how to distinguish between real and pseudo homeopathy. A clear layperson's guide. If it's not enough to seek out a registered homeopath with teaching experience (and my own experience on this one suggests it isn't), how are patients supposed to know, without becoming experts themselves? |

This is true. However it would narrow the field if we had a register of Hahnemannian prescribers. It might avoid wasting time and effort. With hindsight I can see that my first homeopath, although well intentioned and registered with the appropriate organisation, was basically making one guess after another. All dry doses of C potencies (3 in 24 hours), some of which drew forth the most violent emotional reactions but no actual improvement in my physical condition. Due to inexperience, I took my reactions to be positive "aggravations" to be worked through - the rewards would surely come... But we were merely wasting time and losing the opportunity to tackle the problem at an earlier, perhaps more amenable stage. I'm not sure what the professional organisations would make of this but I think there are ethical issues here.
