Hi! I have tried reviewing old posts but my fossil of a computer can't handle going past 20 days.

My daughter is having some success with chiropractic treatment for bedwetting. But we are not in the clear yet!

I discovered my chiropractor is content to have her 8 year old son stay dry only 50% of the time.

I was hoping to give her some suggestions.

I remember reading that you all thought 3 was the magical age for nighttime bladder control.

Aside from chiropractic, and a good remedy, what other things can help a bed wetter?

All opinions welcome!!!!

dear Mamma 3
I presume you aren't asking for remedy advice here or how to take a case?
Make sure the child doesn't drink any tea.

I shall put my word in on this again. If there is no obvious cause try Equisetum 6x ( or as low as possible) a 2 or 3 times a day for a couple of weeks and see how you go.

Should a 3yr old be dry at night? My first son was but my second is very wet...often fills his nappy and the bed is still wet...don't you HATE that??? He has asked me when he will stop needing a nappy but doesn't seem able to control it. you reckon I should try that remedy too or just give him a bit longer?

Thank you, Ricky, I had missed that.

cjd, according to our friends on the BB, a three year old should be able to have nighttime bladder control. Have your son checked by a chiropractor, too. My daughter was dry for 6 nights after seeing the chiro. An all-time record!!!!! But as she is wetting again, we are seeing the chiro tomorrow. My daughter is 6 and ready to be out of pull-ups!

ma57, we are pretty much a water drinking family. I knew there was some information that I missed and was hoping others might repeat it. We have treated her homeopathically with no result, but haven't tried the equisetum.

Thanks again!!!

I'm sorry but I don't believe that all kids have bladder control at night at age 3 years.
My son slept so deply that he was at least 5 before he was dry at night. However knowing what I know now a cranial osteopath would have been useful as he was a forceps birth. I don't think they had such things 25 years ago!!

Ricky, my chiropractor asked if there were any special parameters for Equisetum?

Wink

Well, I told her I thought it was for across the board 'bedwetting'. But she was wondering if perhaps it worked better on blondes with blue eyes or better on girls than boys, etc.

Sorry to be thick but what do you mean by extra parameters? Give me an example please.
