Question

After one dose of nat-mur after a few days got this symptom, right out of Clarke's MM:

"contraction of the rectum during stool; hard fæces at first evacuated with the greatest exertion, which causes tearing in anus, bleeding and soreness; afterwards thin stools also passed; constipated every other day."

What should be taken to anti-dote this?

Thanks for your replies.

Shoshy
I already took Ars and will wait to see.

I am looking for an antidote as I feel I waited long enough (almost 3 weeks, I didn't mention this before, sorry) for this symptom to go away by itself, and it is painful and undesirable. If it is a positive aggravation it should gradually diminish and go away but it doesn't seem to be

Took it for only mind related symptoms gloomy, forebodings, repeatedly thinking about unpleasant past experiences, lethargy, impatience, irritability etc.

Maybe I just need a long vacation on a beach .

Thanks.

Try Nux-v now to antidote. 200 would probably do it.
Then after a time Sepia could follow as the remdey for the original symptoms, but post your case on the bb when you return from that holiday so we can give a more accurate opinion.

Hello Bala
Can I ask a really ignorant question? Why are you taking Nat Mur anyway and why do you want to anti-dote it so soon? Sometimes weird symptoms turn up after a remedy but if they're bearable I generally stay with them . After one dose of a remedy it's VERY rare to get a 'proving' symptom unless of course you are a 'sensitive'.
Maybe I've missed a thread somewhere . It seems strange to me to want to anti-dote something so quickly . Did you self-prescribe?
Where I live and practice something has to be VERY severe before anti-doting is considered .Please excuse me if I've put my preverbial foot in it by not having enough info but I just had to respond because my Homoeopath has never antidoted anything for me and I the only time she did was when I was 'proving' a remedy for college and it affected me adversely . Once in 8 years!
regards
goldie

Gee, I wish I could take that holiday, however I was just dreaming of one and get away from all pressures here to the beach or country side to a quite idyllic place...

Is this another symptom?

Hi Bala
Sound like a desire to escape! Ars, phos and nux. Do you want to visit your daughter on the beach you're dreaming of - in which case Ars. Sorry to be flippant, Actually the nux 200 sounds the best idea

Ars, Nux, Phos didn't work. I am still having this problem though not as severe. There is itching around anus in the early morning.

Any more suggestions would be most welcome.

Best if you post a full case, since the more obvious things didn't work. Or consult a local homoeopath of course...
