Talking

Hello again,

It seems like the whole world had nasal polyps! We have a friend of ours on a short visit, and he snores terribly! When I asked him about it, he answered, that he had his polyps removed few years ago. He snores in every thinkable position, but he mostly sleeps on his back and right side. He has a loud respiration also when awake.
He is allergic to cats: red, itchy spots all over his body, swollen around eyes, sneezing, watery discharge from nose, throat swollen.
Also allergic to wasps: 41 C fever, vertigo, chill when mooves and the red, ithing spots.
Craves :MEAT, dairy prod, onion, garlic, farinaceous and spicy food.
He is artistic, his passion is drawing, he is very good at it, he draws fantasy-figures. Has dreams about flying, beeing chased or falling, but he always lands on his feet. He likes hugging, is lazy, very stabil. Itīs VERY difficult to make him angry or even irritated. He is really cool. HE looks like a big, nice bear, with a redish-blond beard, he is rather "well-built" ) BUT, sometimes when he is going to "perform" something, he has stomach-ache.Otherwise he is reserved with strangers.
He likes sex and he is a nail-biter since early childhood!

So, Lisa, Iris, Kylie and the others, what will "we" (I know,GM) give him? Is it the picture of an artistic Phosphorus or a lazy Sulphur or the stabil, responsible Calc-carb? Or, most likely, none of them...

I think you might have another phos there VS.

I took-

Dreams flying
Bites nails
Nose polyps

and this gave lyc and phos.

His character sounds more like phos, plus the red beard.

Oh, thanks Anna, and what a relief! I was afraid, that now I see Phos in him only because we had that Phos case two days ago! Itīs the same in school, when we study one certain remedy, than we tend to see that remedy in all cases!
Oh, and one more question, Anna. Are you using some computer- program? If so, wich one and are you satisfied with it?

Question

Perhaps you should look at Apis as a constitutional remedy...

Thanks, gentlemen!
No, he isnīt on any medication. It only happened twice that he got stung by a wasp, he was told to take lots of Calcium, but he hadnīt have it so he was lying in bed for a day, and than it was gone. When he "meets" cats, than he just uses Chamomill-infusion on his eyes. Thatīs it. He doesnīt make a big deal of it, he takes it easy, just as he handles everything. CALM!!! By the way, it might be important, I forgot to write that he used to have pneumonias and nose-blood very often when he was younger. He also says he was pugnacious until he was 12, when he begin in a new school, and when he decided to be a "nice guy". He also claimes he is romantic, he has been together with his girlfriend for several years now and he has a dream about a house with dogs and many children. He likes to watch nature-documentaries on TV, he knows a lot about all kind of animals. He also acts in a way to not hurt his girlfriends feelings. When he told us about her jelousy he just kind of smiled and said: let her look in my pockets! If it makes her feel better I donīt mind, I have nothing to hide. And he reacts always like this. He tries to "justifie" people acting strange, he thinks they have their reason, and as long they donīt hurt anyone, itīs OK with him. He is just He doesnīt have to show-off.

Hello Anna!
I just LOVE theese kind of answers! I do have a lot to learn and I see, that itīs easier when there are different "teachers" (who agree, of course) because they all emphasise different things and they explain it in different way. Thank you, Anna

What a sweetie! The pugnacious childhood, nose-bleeds and pneumonias, and the cat allergy all sound as if Tub might be underneath.
By the way, I don't use a computer repertory because I was advised by GM not to get one during the first ten years of practice, and I agree that one learns a lot more about the rubrics by using the books.
I am also learning from GM, though I never learnt this at college, that it's important to consider the plan of prescribing for a patient in relation to the relationship of remedies. For example in the above repertorisation, I made a classic college-type mistake in missing the most striking symptom - which Frank picked up - ie the reaction to stings. That gave the acute for the case, which could be used for the immediate effects of stings. But what is required to prevent such a big reaction is the chronic of Apis in this case. Which is the remedy to be found.
Something related to Apis and to Tub that has nail biting. I'll think about it...
