I know accupuncture shouldn't be used with homeopathy, is it the same for accupressure? I went to a new chiropractor today, and without asking, he started to use it.
Funny, he thinks he knows a bit about homeopathy. I may have to keep going to him just to set him straight! |

I am not sure which one of us GM is replying to. GM do you think this poster should seek additional help to see if he is a candidate for massage, etc or are you questioning my reply? I have had good experience using alternative therepy, along with homeopathic remedies. If you feel they should not go hand in hand, I wonder why you sometimes suggest chiropractic assistance and vitamin therepy. You have suggested mega-doses of certain vitamins on previous patients accounts. Can you tell me why therepies that are hands on would not compliment homeopathy?

Ask god for a brain, not me, i cant give you one. And i cant either take your senseless accusation aimed at me when i speak generally.
Thanks for wanting to start a quarrel just cause you desire it, not cause its any to quarrel about. (Or any important issue to discuss, and its not discussion you want!) |

In a nutshell....what one person needs, another doesn't. What one doesn't, another does.
Where one person can handle massage or accupressure while taking a remedy, maybe another can't. Basic reasoning here, even in allopathy is that a health history is taken before one gets a massage by a professional, since some people with certain heart conditions or other health problems should'nt receive vigorous massage. Geez...if even the non-homeopathic world can recognize this...it shouldn't be too much of a stretch for us! Tis the basis of homeopathy no? That everyone is individual, and ALL therapies should be individualized? ![]() Zmyst |

GOSH! Anna and GM Why all this attack? I am not telling anyone to take a remedy or not. I don't need you, GM, to tell me to get a brain. I didn't ask this of you. Are you thinking everyone on this HH BB is asking only your advice? I do not intrude on any question asking for your advice only. The way I figure is, if the question is asked in general, then anyone can answer. I am not saying (like you) take my advice only and make the previous poster feel like an intruder. There are no "senseless accusations" aimed at you. Get a true sense of what you are implying. I am not trying to start a "quarrel" Why do you feel that only your opinion counts? If there is a thread that says "GM" believe me, I will not answer. (In the short time I've been here, I can see what that does to anyone new!!!) But if the question is addressed to the general BB, I will give my opinion. And you will not deter me! I am not a student looking for you to teach me. If you were, I would drop out of your class instruction so fast, you would not remeber my name! And ANNA - What is my "tranparent" intention? As I said in a previous post: You need to grow up! I am NOT Miss Mary and I don't need any of you to be nice!

Healing first starts as a natural process, meaning that living systems have built in health adjusters. Should they prove weak, or fail, other measures are taken to enhance the healing process. As an energy "medicine" Homeopathic enhancers have demonstrated their ability to restore the basic healing net work. They can be said to be the next best thing to life's own healing system as they do not supress disease, but enable the stricken to rid it self of dangerous toxins. That having been said,(for the benefit of new-comers), I would like to discuss the role of silliness in the restoration of the vital forces of the animal.(No doubt, vegetation also has a ticklish side, but as I am not upto date with such research I will refrain from comment here.) Silliness, or humor has endured a long, uphill journey to be recognized as a natural stress reducer. How many of us have tried to supress what society would deem the unpardonable giggle which often occurs during a crisis or disaster. The giggle releases tension, just as the yawn, fatigue. The giggle rolls from one being to another, just as the yawn stretches over to the next fellow. Fortunately, research, which has boiled down to common knowledge for most of us, has demonstrated that laughter is the best medicine. Not only is it the best medicine, but being natural to the anatomy and physiology of the human being, (as well as some other animals I might emphasize), it should always precede secondary measures, such as homeopathy which, as powerful as it may be, remains an applied science. So, Anna, dear, fill the board with peels of laughter, giggle and joke, as I for one want to relish the healing process with a bellyful of whacky joy.

My mother went to one funeral and had to hold her hand over her mouth the whole time to stop herself from bursting into laughter. She never went to another funeral. She was also deathly afraid of going under anesthesia because she thought she would reveal things to strangers or people she worked with who were visiting her when she started to come out of the anesthetic.(Does this bring any remedies into someones mind)
My silly follows: A policeman stopped a man in his car and said, "are you aware that you left your wife back there 6 miles?" The man replied, "oh, thank god, I thought I'd gone deaf" [This message has been edited by carolorr (edited 27 June 2000).] |
