Default Borax

Borax-This remedy deserves study and to be added to our list of remedies particularly suited for infants, children, but not limited to same-viz.,Chamomile,Cina,Mag. Phos.,etc.
It has nervousness-startled at noises, as so many remedies have, but to an extremely marked degree and softer, unexpected noises provoke this reaction more than loud ones, so that a cough, sneeze, even the rustling of a newspaper, or the sound of a very distant shot will startle.
Another nervous symptom-extreme,marked fear of downward motion. When an infant is lowered into the crib, however gently, will scream and cling to person while he/she is being laid in crib-also, will scream and cling tightly when being carried down a flight of stairs{in an adult that may need Borax, this may manifest in refusing to sit in a rocking chair, horseback riding-useless to try to persuade one of these to go on a rollercoaster ride; feels very anxious going down an elevator.}.
A physical symptom! Especially in infants, children have sore, hot mouths{a nursing mother will readilly testify to this} with presence of aphthae {white patches inside mouth-thrush-also very sore inflamed, swollen gums-infant cries when nursing- this symptom often concomitant with greenish stools, day and night. Borax also has action on other mucus membranes.
Will end this with one peculiar symptom- hair will become entangled at tips, difficult to brush out- then recurring. If this description of keynote symptoms will lead even one mother to further investigation to confirm simillumum and aborts, heals thrush, avoiding allopathic '' treatment", I will be pleased. Fredric.
