Question

HI,
My daughter's teacher has a son who is 5 years old and wets the bed.

Here is the info she gave me:

He's red-haired.
Very healthy little boy - few instances of any illness.
Very complacent and quiet little boy.
Easy going and mild tempered.

She said that for a while - they were getting him up at 10pm to have a wee - and that this worked off and on...but still sometimes would wet the bed.

She says that he sleeps so soundly - nothing wakes him...and thinks the message that he needs to pee isn't getting to his brain - and waking him.

Anyhow, just wondering - if you can tell on this little info - if something would help him with this problem.

He wets the bed almost every night now...

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!
Lisa

Hi - Sorry - please tell me exactly what to ask....

She's mildy intrigued by the thought that a remedy would cure this problem but she is skeptical...so if you could tell me exactly what you need - then I can ask her specific questions.

Sorry - but I don't get the feeling she'd be patient for me to ask loads of questions - but rather a pointed few....

if too much trouble - don't worry...

thanks!
Lisa

Cool

Chops, what is his life situation - parents, siblings etc? A little bit about his nature and how he responds to people and events would help.

I've noticed a couple of posts lately about four and five year olds that still wet the bed and though it is inconvienient it is certainly not uncommon nor does it indicate that there is something "wrong". 1 in 5 children still wet the bed at age five.

Thanks Anna,
I'll try to find out from her.

And Barb, while I appreciate your input, it is not normal to pee in the bed at age 5 - there is something 'out of balance' when this keeps happening to children beyond age three...especially when they do it almost every single night.

I just beg to differ on that point. Just because a lot of children have this problem doesn't mean it is Normal - or that we should do nothing - and I know that Homeopathy will help!

That 1 in 5 still wet the bed at this age - well, isn't that a wake up call to people that something isn't right with our modern way of living?? That moves me to delve further into this - not just sit back and accept it as normal...
Also, if you speak to most mothers - they are distressed by this...as the children are too! Most of these children are humiliated at their 'failure' to control themselves...etc....etc...etc...

Thanks for your input guys!

Lisa,

I do appreciate your point. I made my comment in part to show that this is not an uncommon occurance.

I have a four year old daughter and have many conversations with the parents at her school and know many many many who's children were having this problem at age four but not age five, or age five but not age five and half or six. I don't belive there was something wrong with these little ones that magically disappeared, but rather it is about muscle control and learning to wake up when you need to go. In many cases it just takes time.

On the other hand you are right when you say that in some cases something may be wrong that homeopathy can help with. And we both agree that it is probably worth a try if prescribed correctly.

What allophaty cant supress, they call normal, statistic normality..in a population... or say its a delusion, go to a psyciathist...or so on..blame the patient..get the answer moved away from them their not interested in disclosure. that they dont know anything..thats why they use diagnosis..give the patient a name for the problems..so they can go happy , reassured and sick home..after paying..
excuses keeps being invented..at your cost..

Barb,
I understand where you're coming from - but you're only looking at this on the functional level....and there is more to it than that...

Dig a little deeper and you'll see what I mean...I know you're studying too.

What I glean is that if his body was in harmony / balance - whatever you want to call it then he wouldn't be sleeping so soundly to the point that he's not getting the messages in his brain.

Since the rem's work on the dynamic plane - it stands to reason that this could be sorted fairly easily with the closest simillimum..that's why I'm going to try to find out as much as possible from the mother.

Anyhow - this will be very interesting for me to see firsthand...I'll keep this updated.
